AnandarajCloud computing offers a scalable and cost-effective platform by providing on-demand access to shared computational resources. However, effective load balancing is essential to maintain optimal performance and maximize resource utilization for ensuring even distribution of network traffic across servers, preventing overload, improving response time and enhancing the system reliability. This manuscript proposes the Deep Q-Network with Inverted S-shaped Hierarchical Reverse … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 6 · 4 Jun 2026 · 1,497 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleFedLoBA-1: A Load Balancing Architecture for Mitigating Resource Overloading in Federated Cloud InfrastructuresDamola Gideon Akinola, Emmanuel Adetiba et al.In a subscription-based service such as cloud computing, clients have scheduled access to shared resources such as data, software, storage, and other assets as needed. Despite several benefits, cloud computing still faces significant difficulties. Load balancing, which is the capacity of the cloud infrastructure to equally distribute tasks among the resources in the cloud environment has significant issues. Cloud federation … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 2 · 23 Jan 2025 · 6,326 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleApplication of Viral System Algorithm in Load Balancing of Cloud EnvironmentDamodar Tiwari, Shailendra Singh, Sanjeev SharmaAs the cloud computing technology is gaining popularity with time, more and more users and applications are shifting towards it. This is why clouds are experiencing high load, which demands for load balancing of user tasks submitted to cloud for execution. This makes load balancing of non-preemptive tasks a key issue in cloud computing. Superior task scheduling leads to balanced … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 7 · 14 Jul 2018 · 8,406 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleA LOAD BALANCING MODEL USING FIREFLY ALGORITHM IN CLOUD COMPUTINGA. Paulin Florence, V. ShanthiCloud computing is a model that points at streamlining the on-demand provisioning of software, hardware and data as services and providing end-users with flexible and scalable services accessible through the Internet. The main objective of the proposed approach is to maximize the resource utilization and provide a good balanced load among all the resources in cloud servers. Initially, a load … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 7 · 15 Feb 2014 · 8,763 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleENHANCED LOAD BALANCING STRATEGY IN HETEROGENEOUS PEER-TO-PEER NETWORKSP. Murugesan, A. ShanmugamExisting P2P systems provide a Duty Cycle Data Appropriation (DCDA) Technique allocate objects based on ranking among “peer nodes” in a method that result in various nodes containing times as numerous objects as the standard node. Further disparity might effect owing to non-uniform allocation of objects in the identifier break and a high amount of heterogeneity in objective loads and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 9 · 6 Aug 2013 · 6,429 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleE2AODV Protocol for Load Balancing in Ad-Hoc NetworksR. Vinod Kumar, R. S.D. Wahida BanuProblem statement: In mobile ad hoc networks there are a number of challenges in providing quality of service routing with energy efficiency and load balancing. Most routing protocols do not consider the problem of load balance. A routing protocol called energy Efficient Ad-hoc on Demand Vector (E2AODV) is proposed. It addresses the quality of service issues such as throughput, end … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 7 · 7 Jul 2012 · 6,832 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleAdaptive Multi-Path Routing for Load Balancing in Mobile Ad Hoc NetworksS. Soundararajan, R. S. BhuvaneswaranProblem statement: Load balancing and network congestion are the major problems in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANET) routing. Most of the existing routing protocols provide solutions to load balancing or congestion or fault-tolerance, individually. Approach: We propose congestion controlled adaptive multi-path routing protocol to achieve load balancing and avoid congestion in MANETs. The algorithm for finding multi-path routes computes fail-safe multiple … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 5 · 18 Feb 2012 · 7,449 accessesView PDFCite
