Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsEvaluation Metrics for Wireless Sensor Network Security: Algorithms Review and Software ToolQasem Abu Al-Haija, Mohamed H. Shwehdi, Muhammad BanatWireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is currently receiving a significant attention due to their potential impact into several real life applications such as military and home automation technology. The work in this study is a complementary part of what’s discussed. In this study, we propose a software tool to simulate and evaluate the six evaluation metrics presented for non-deterministic wireless sensor … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 5 · 27 May 2013 · 7,348 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Efficient Cluster Head Selection in IoV-Enabled VANETs Using a Federated Diffusion Convolutional Recurrent Neural Networks FrameworkP Subhash, Madana Srinivas, A. Ranjith et al.The IoV enables the formation of VANETs that require a strong selection of CHs for effective communication within high-velocity changing traffic scenarios. Existing approaches often face issues related to scalability, privacy, and adaptability. To meet the aforementioned urgent needs, we design a decentralized scheme for intelligent CH selection based on Federated Learning with Diffusion Convolutional Recurrent Neural Networks (DCRNNs). According … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 10 · 1 Oct 2026 · 599 accessesView PDFCite

This study aims to explore the impact of utilizing Social Media Networks (SMNs) on the academic attainment of A’Sharqiyah University students in the Sultanate of Oman. It recognizes the global significance of SMNs in modern society, emphasizing their role … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 11 · 5 Sep 2024 · 4,867 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEnergy and Distance Aware Multi-Objective Firebug Swarm Optimization Based Clustering and Routing in Wireless Sensor NetworksGundeboyina Srinivasalu, Hanumanthappa UmadeviIn recent years, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have received increased international attention due to advancements in the communication, electronics, and information fields. These sensor networks integrate a huge number of sensor nodes to track rapidly changing physical events. The key improvement is that these nodes can be easily positioned in any environment due to their small size. Therefore, maintaining network … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 3 · 10 Feb 2023 · 6,029 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractStraight Line Routing on Next Hop Graph in Wireless Sensor NetworksP. Kavitha Rani, E. KannanInformation processing and information routing in wireless sensor network is one of the most important key area of recent research. Building an optimal routing protocol for information routing is a tough task in dealing with the sensor nodes. Information exchange can be done with the major possible way in order to provide a secure communication and reliable data delivery, here … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 1 · 22 Sep 2014 · 7,191 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractTHE SECURITY SURVEY AND ANAYLSIS ON SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION COMMUNICATIONA. Shahzad, S. Musa, A. Aborujilah, M. IrfanThe SCADA system connectivity with several open networks using internet facility brought SCADA platform more vulnerable from attacks/threads. Therefore, the detail security review has been conducted, to find the potential security issues which are residing and warming the SCADA communication and also existing potential security solutions that are used to protect the SCADA communication. However, Security deployments are the future … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 10 · 23 Jun 2014 · 7,643 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Case Study of River Rehabilitation for Fish in Northern Italy: The Panaro River ProjectClaudio Comoglio, Enrico Pini Prato, Mauro Ferri, Massimiliano GianaroliThe restoration of longitudinal connectivity of a watercourse altered by man-made obstacles is a key issue for the protection and safeguard of freshwater ecosystems and the construction of fish passes constitutes a relevant ad hoc measure. However, in many countries, like Italy, there is still not an adequate technical-scientific background and experience in this field and therefore several migratory species … …American Journal of Environmental Sciences, Vol. 3, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2007 · 7,027 accessesView PDFCite
