Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsPerformance Evaluation of Interference Mitigation Techniques in 4G Networks in Mobile EnvironmentsEmna Hajlaoui, Abdelhakim Khlifi, Samia Dardouri et al.Intercell Interference (ICI) is one of the major factors that limit the performance and Quality of Service (QoS) of 4G wireless networks (Long Term Evolution/LTE-Advanced). For this reason, heterogeneous networks present an attractive solution for the improvement of mobile network’s services to provide better data rates and coverage. So, a key scheme in 4G traffic processing is the interference mitigation … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 12 · 25 Dec 2019 · 7,317 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsMIGITATION OF INTER CELL INTERFERENCE AND FADING IN LTE SYSTEMSNagarajan Amutha Prabha, Gorla Vidhya Sagar, Venugopal ManikandanIn this study we investigate the compensation of outage area utmost. It introduces the self optimization of the neighbors of the outage cells with antenna tilts for the generation of the most suitable configuration settings for the network with base stations/eNodeBs positional information. All the neighbors of the outage cell increase their coverage area and thus contribute to cell outage … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 28 Nov 2013 · 6,736 accessesView PDF Cite
