Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleInteractive Computing Framework for Engineering ApplicationsJovana Knezevic, Jerome Frisch, Ralf-Peter Mundani, Ernst RankProblem statement: Even though the computational steering state-of-the-art environments allow users to embed their simulation codes as a module for an interactive steering without the necessity for their own expertise in high-performance computing and visualisation, e.g., these environments are limited in their possible applications and mostly entail heavy code changes in order to integrate the existing code. Approach: In this … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 5 · 7 May 2011 · 7,207 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsDeveloping the Environment of Information Technology Education using Cloud Computing InfrastructureChen-Feng Wu, Liang-Pang HuangThe education of Information Technology (IT) in Taiwan has been promoted since 1997. However, there were still problems with the current environment of IT education. Problem statement: The major problem was that students were unable to practice after school with the same environment and there was no appropriate space to save their files for students, so it was not convenient … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 9 · 1 Aug 2011 · 7,652 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractNovel Scheme for Enhancing Storage Management and Performance and Saving Energy of Mobile Cloud ComputingAli A. Yassin, Abdulla J. Yassin, Abdullah Mohammed Rashid, Ahmed A. AlkadhmaweeModern industries for smart mobile devices, such as smartphones, provide end users with interactive features that consider network accessibility, computation performance, storage usage, energy saving and limited battery resources. The combination of cloud and mobile computing capabilities has introduced a new technology called Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC), which has extended smartphones and modern mobile devices beyond their core capacities. Many … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 5 · 9 May 2019 · 7,871 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAdaptable Service Component Interface Framework in Pervasive ComputingR. Vasanthi, R. S.D. WahidabanuProblem statement: Pervasive computing refers to visionary new ways of applying Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to our daily lives. Interoperability among pervasive networked systems, in particular accounting for the heterogeneity of protocols from the application down to the middleware layer, which is mandatory for today's and even more for tomorrow's open and highly heterogeneous networks. Approach: The high demand … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 6 · 15 Mar 2012 · 6,969 accessesView PDFCite
