Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsEfficacy of Numeric Keypad for Computer Illiterates in Rural ICTPallab Dutta, Mahesh Kumar, B. Sridharan, Vipin TyagiThe world has a vast population of illiterate people who cannot read and write. There are globally about 781 million adults today who fall into this category of illiterate population. The number is even higher for computer illiterates, as not all literate masses qualify to be computer literate due to various compelling factors prevailing. There has been a lot of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 8 · 19 Nov 2015 · 7,294 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign and Implementation of an IoT-Based Application for Export-Import (EXIM) Document ManagementJulia Loisa, Johanes Fernandes Andry, Devi Yurisca Bernanda et al.International trade in the Export-Import (EXIM) sector is a key driver of global economic growth. However, EXIM document management still faces challenges such as data inconsistencies, input delays, and a lack of real-time visibility into document status. These issues result in shipping delays and increase operational costs. This research aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based EXIM application with … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 2 · 18 Feb 2026 · 1,854 accessesView PDFCite
Technical ReportOpen accessIn the abstractInduction Clutch with the Ability to Generate Electricity, Brake, Start Fuel Engine and Electric EngineSeyed Ali Akbar MousaviThe induction clutch is a device that acts like a friction clutch but there is no abrasion and it is more accurate. Because electric, solar, and fuel car convertible to boats, vertical aircraft flying supersonic has sealed body, for this reason, a friction clutch cannot be used, because the friction clutch does not work well and due to friction, it … …Journal of Aircraft and Spacecraft Technology, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 31 Aug 2023 · 6,585 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractModeling and Simulation of the Impact of Temperature on Single Point Load Cell using Trnsys 16.0: Measured, Uncompensated and Error Data for Zaria Kaduna StateAlbright A. Edet, Afolayan M. O., Umar A. UmarA load cell is a piece of machined metal called a transducer or load sensor. As a measuring device, the entire framework is prone to the impact of environmental forces which can produce errors in the load cell output. The most significant force or input modifier is high ambient temperature. Typical meteorological year document demonstrates that in March, April, and … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 6, Issue 1 · 7 Jun 2022 · 5,727 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractIOT-Based Smart Helmet for COVID-19 Detection and ManagementFoziah GazzaweCovid-19 is one of the pandemics that has shocked the world. Having originated from China, the virus rapidly spread across many countries of the world. There was a need to come up with mechanisms to manage the spread of the virus. The traditional methods of temperature capture through thermal handheld gun thermometers were tedious and exposed the officers to the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 11 · 14 Nov 2023 · 6,046 accessesView PDFCite
Technical ReportOpen accessIn the abstractEffects of Design Factors of HDFS on I/O PerformanceHan-Gyoo KimFour major design factors of HDFS, the block size, the number of data nodes, the number of client processes and replication factor are investigated to find out the effects on the I/O performance of HDFS by performing experiments in a real physical HDFS infrastructure consisting of 64 Hadoop data nodes of Intel i9 based blades. The block size is observed … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 3 · 13 Mar 2018 · 7,987 accessesView PDFCite

Ecocare Indo PasifikRaka Dhaneswara, Alexander Agung Santoso GunawanThe progress made on the Internet of Things (IoT) has given an opportunity to people to have control over their home devices from afar using mobile applications. While PT. Ecocare Indo Pasifik (ecoCare) is still in the first few years of its journey through this new digital transformation era, there are some shortcomings on the way it handles its digital … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 11 · 26 Jan 2026 · 1,435 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractADAPTIVE I/O SWITCHING FOR SEAMLESS CONVERGENCE OF SMART PHONES AND EXTERNAL I/O DEVICESOh-Chul Kwon, Jusung Kim, Chang-Gun LeeTo be small and easy to carry, mobile devices cannot be equipped with large and highly capable input/output devices. In order to overcome these limitations, this study proposes adaptive I/O switching technique as a general solution for exploiting full features of various external input/output devices in lieu of tiny input/output devices in a smartphone. Unlike existing physical-layer connection based solutions … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 7 · 21 Feb 2014 · 6,649 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractRECONFIGURING EVOLVED CIRCUITS USING CONTROLLER: A REAL TIME APPROACHB. Hari Krishna, S. RaviFPGA is a device that contains a matrix of reconfigurable gate arrays that can implement different complex functions and also vary structurally. In this study, a novel method of reconfigurable circuit switching action is done with the help of a controller. BPSK Modulation application is chosen to demonstrate the reconfigurable action.
