Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRegularization Method for Solving Denoising and Inpainting Task Using Stacked Sparse Denoising AutoencodersPavel Vyacheslavovich Skribtsov, Sergey Olegovich SurikovThis article offers a regularization method for training stacked sparse denoising autoencoders aimed at designing model description of objects used for image denoising and inpainting. The offered regularization method allows increasing the generalizing ability of model description, which results in greater stability of denoising methods using it with regard to variation of the noise type. This makes the offered method … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 1 · 13 Jan 2016 · 7,615 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsAutomatic Text Removal and Replacement in Scanned Meteorological Thematic MapsAhsan Abdullah, Sohyb Sami Abo Alshamat, Ahmad Bakhashwain, Ahtisham AslamGeo-referenced data is required in many Geographic Information System (GIS) applications and one source of such data being maps. Meteorological maps are color-coded with different regions corresponding to different values of a parameter, parsing the image to convert into data is not very difficult. However, text and different planimetric elements overlaid on the regions in the map makes accurate image … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 5 · 18 Aug 2015 · 7,049 accessesView PDF Cite
