Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsHybrid Approach for Detection and Recognition of VehiclesK. S. Selvanayaki, Rm. SomaSundaramOn road vehicles have increased in numbers and monitoring them is a challenging task. In common areas of public crowd people and vehicles are common objects for monitoring. The proposed system aims at detecting number plate information indicating the possibility for security relevant issues. Existing system performs recognition mainly by using license plate alone. Addition of the features (logo, colour, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 6 Sep 2014 · 7,430 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMultimodal Face Expression Recognition Using Parametric Exponential Linear Unit-Long Short-Term MemoryKampa Ratna Babu, Akula Suneetha, Kampa Kanthi KumarMultimodal facial expression recognition combines information from multiple modalities of audio and video to achieve the required accuracy and robustness. By integrating different data sources, multimodal systems capture different aspects of human expression. However, accurately recognizing facial expressions across audio and video modalities causes challenges due to variations in expression representation. In this research, Parametric Exponential Linear Unit-Long Short-Term Memory … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 10 · 17 Aug 2024 · 4,612 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPedestrian Recognition Based on Multi-Scale Weighted HOGMonther Hussein Al-BsoolPedestrian recognition receives a great attention in recent years due to its importance in traffic accidents identification. Traffic surveillance systems can provide valuable information for pedestrian recognition using computer vision and image processing techniques. Most techniques exploit simple feature extraction and multi-stage feature matching to train classifiers. In this study, Canny edge information and Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG) has … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 11 · 7 Nov 2018 · 7,158 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordA Hybrid Approach of Texture Feature and Gradient Orientation for Computer Aided Diagnosis System Based on Breast Density ClassificationNujum Alabdulali, Alanod Bin Dris, Fatimah Alqahtani, Aseel Bin OthmanA Computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD) system can perform an accurate diagnosis and help radiologists by presenting a second opinion about breast density. However, the development of a robust CAD system for breast density classification is still an open problem. In this study, we proposed a CAD system based on hybrid intelligent machine learning technique for automatic classification of breast density on … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 10 · 1 Nov 2020 · 6,759 accessesView PDF Cite
