Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsEnhancing the Robustness of Visual Degradation Based HAM Reversible Data HidingHabiba Sultana, A.H.M. Kamal, Mohammad Mahfuzul IslamPurposely visual degradation of image quality is a newfangled idea in the area of Histogram Association Mapped (HAM) reversible data hiding. Such scheme first divides the color scale, i.e., 0-255, into some partitions by the range, difference of minimum and maximum value of a block. Next, the histogram of a block resided to a partition, original partition, is moved, e.g., … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 12, Issue 2 · 26 Mar 2016 · 6,985 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCOMPUTER AIDED SEGMENTATION OF BRAIN TISSUES USING SOFT COMPUTING TECHNIQUESD. Ramkumar, I. Jacob Raglend, K. BatriIn this study, an efficient computer aided classification of brain tissue in to Gray Matter (GM), White Matter (WM) and Cerebro-Spinal Fluid (CSF) is proposed. The proposed work consists of the following sub blocks like denosing, feature extraction and Classifier. This initial partition is performed by ANFIS after extracting the textural features like local binary pattern and histogram features. The … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 6 · 17 Apr 2014 · 6,662 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Efficient Method for Contrast Enhancement in Still Images using Histogram Modification FrameworkC. G. Ravichandran, V. MagudeeswaranProblem statement: Image enhancement improves an image appearance by increasing dominance of some features or by decreasing ambiguity between different regions of the image. Histogram based image enhancement technique is mainly based on equalizing the histogram of the image and increasing the dynamic range corresponding to the image. Approach: Histogram Equalization is widely used in different ways to perform contrast … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 5 · 2 Mar 2012 · 8,007 accessesView PDF Cite
