Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsHybrid Algorithm for Optimal Load Sharing in Grid ComputingD. Ramesh, A. KrishnanProblem statement: Grid Computing is the fast growing industry, which shares the resources in the organization in an effective manner. Resource sharing requires more optimized algorithmic structure, otherwise the waiting time and response time are increased and the resource utilization is reduced. Approach: In order to avoid such reduction in the performances of the grid system, an optimal resource sharing … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 5 Nov 2011 · 7,521 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Practical and Secure Hash Function-Based Password Authentication SchemeMuhammad Helmi Ali, Eddie Shahril Ismail, Firdaus Mohamad HamzahIn this study, we propose a practical and secure hash function-based password authentication scheme using smart cards. Our proposed scheme offers some advantages and interesting features. Firstly, the scheme does not require a verification table and is secure against the replay attacks, an attack that most of the existing schemes suffer. Secondly, any user of the scheme be allowed to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 7 · 17 Jul 2019 · 7,738 accessesView PDF Cite
