Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsDesign and Implementation of Myoelectric Controlled ArmTariq M. Younes, Mohammad A. AlKhedher, Abdel-Hamid Soliman, Aiman Al AlawinIn this study a discrimination system, using a neural network for Electromyogram (EMG) externally controlled Arm is proposed. In this system, the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is used to learn the relation between the power spectrum of EMG signal analysed by Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and the performance desired by handicapped people. The Neural Network can discriminate 4 performances of … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 16 Sep 2019 · 6,281 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSwitching from Flat to Spatial Motion to 3R Mechatronic SystemsRelly Victoria Petrescu, Raffaella Aversa, Antonio Apicella, Florian Ion Tiberiu PetrescuThe anthropomorphic robots are part of the classical series of mechatronic systems, being in the form of arms and having at least three space rotation, to which other components may eventually be added, thus lengthening the entire kinematic chain. You can also add all the planetary or spatial rotating arms or others that are translating. At the end we always … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 22 Jan 2018 · 7,427 accessesView PDF Cite
