JayakumarMobile agent plays an important role in developing applications of open, distributed and mixed environments, such as the internet. Mobile agent or mobile software agent is piece of software that can operate autonomously to accomplish user assigned task. To explain more, mobile agent is the process which can migrate to hosts autonomously. As an agent travels to do execution in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 7 · 19 Feb 2014 · 6,800 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesPerformance Comparison of Two On-demand Routing Protocols for Ad-hoc Networks based on Random Way Point Mobility ModelGeetha Jayakumar, G. GopinathAd hoc networks are characterized by multihop wireless connectivity, frequently changing network topology and the need for efficient dynamic routing protocols plays an important role. We compare the performance of two prominent on-demand routing protocols for mobile ad hoc networks: Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), Ad Hoc On-demand distance Vector Routing (AODV). A detailed simulation model with MAC and physical layer … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2008 · 7,692 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesAd Hoc Mobile Wireless Networks Routing Protocols - A ReviewGeetha Jayakumar, G. GopinathMobile ad hoc networks(MANET) represent complex distributed systems that comprise wireless mobile nodes that can freely and dynamically self organize into arbitrary and temporary ad-hoc network topologies, allowing people and devices to seamlessly internet work in areas with no preexisting communication infrastructure e.g., disaster recovery environments. An ad-hoc network is not a new one, having been around in various forms … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2007 · 115,241 accessesView PDF Cite
