Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsReal MDS Codes for Error Correction: Construction and an Application on Federated Learning Pre Aggregation ValidationRavi Varma B., N. Suresh Babu, Santhosh Kumar K. P., Shailesh SivanReal number codes play a crucial role in correcting errors within communication systems that involve the transmission of analog signals or continuous data. Among these codes, Maximum Distance Separable (MDS) codes stand out as highly efficient for error correction. The present research paper is on the construction of a class of real number MDS codes for any desired dimension. The … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 12 · 27 Feb 2026 · 1,347 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsSimulated Annealing Decoder for Linear Block CodesLahcen Niharmine, Hicham Bouzkraoui, Ahmed Azouaoui, Youssef HadiIn this study, we introduce a novel soft decoder, the first of its kind, for linear block codes, based on Simulated Annealing algorithm (SA). The main enhancement in our contribution which let our decoder over performs with large gain (about 3 dB at 710-4) the classical SA approach, is to take the most reliable information set of the received codeword … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 8 · 4 Sep 2018 · 7,810 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsDesign of Output Codes for Fast Covering Learning using Basic Decomposition TechniquesAruna Tiwari, Narendra S. ChaudhariWe propose the design of output codes for solving the classification problem in Fast Covering Learning Algorithm (FCLA). For a complex multi-class problem normally the classifiers are constructed by combining the outputs of several binary ones. In this paper, we use the basic methods of decomposition; one per class (OPC) and Error Correcting Output Code (ECOC) with FCLA, binary to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2006 · 6,302 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMaximally Distant Codes Allocation Using Chemical Reaction Optimization and Ant Colony Optimization AlgorithmsTaisir Eldos, Waleed Nazih, Aws KananError correcting codes, also known as error controlling codes, are set of codes with redundancy that allows detecting errors. This is quite useful in transmitting data over a noisy channel or when retrieving data from a storage with possible physical defects. The idea is to use a set of code words that are maximally distant from each other, hence reducing … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 8 · 5 Nov 2015 · 7,000 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF HIGH EFFICIENCY LOW DENSITY PARITY-CHECK CODE DECODER FOR LOW POWER APPLICATIONSM. Revathy, R. SaravananIn this study, we propose a low power, high efficient Low Density Parity-Check Code (LDPC) Decoder Architecture for error detection and correction applications. LDPC codes have been adopted in latest wireless standards such as satellite and mobile communications since they possess superior error-detecting and correcting capabilities. As technology scales, memory devices become larger and more powerful and low power consumption … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 4 · 30 Jan 2014 · 6,882 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA New Error Correction Intuitive Approach in Quantum Communications ProtocolsAris Skander, Merabtine Nadjim, Malek BenslamaQuantum Error Correction will be necessary for preserving coherent states against noise and other unwanted interactions in quantum computation and communication. We develop a general theory of quantum error correction based on encoding states into larger Hilbert spaces subject to known interactions. We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the perfect recovery of an encoded state after its degradation by … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2007 · 6,838 accessesView PDF Cite
