Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleA New Novel Fidelity Digital Watermarking Based on Adaptively Pixel-Most-Significant-Bit-6 in Spatial Domain Gray Scale Images and RobustMehemed Bashir Aliwa, Tarek El-Ahmady El-Tobely, Mahmood M. Fahmy et al.The digital watermarking technology is a way to apply digital information hiding techniques and prevent malicious and non-malicious attacks to detect hidden information. Problem statement: The problems in digital watermarking is that the three requirements of imperceptibility, capacity and robustness that are must be satisfied but they almost conflict with each other, accordingly there are tradeoff between fidelity and robustness. … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 7 · 31 Jul 2010 · 7,159 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleAn Improved Scheme for Digital Watermarking Using Functional Link Artificial Neural NetworkBanshidhar Majhi, Hasan ShalabiThe present study proposes a novel technique for copyright protection by utilizing digital watermarking of Images. The watermark is embedded and detected by using Functional Link Artificial Neural Network (FLANN) and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). The exhaustive simulation results of the proposed scheme show improved performance over the existing methods in all cases, i.e. when the watermarked image is subjected … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2005 · 6,861 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleAn Investigation into the Use of the Least Significant Bit Substitution Technique in Digital WatermarkingKevin Curran, Xuelong Xi, Roisin ClarkeDigital imaging companies lose revenue each year to people who are illegally copying and using their images. One prevention mechanism is to digitally encode images making it difficult for others to copy. This could be done using digital fingerprinting or simply adding a visible watermark. The information is hidden in a way that should not attract attention, but make it … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2005 · 7,469 accessesView PDFCite
