Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAN EFFICIENT AND VARIABLE INTERVAL REKEYING FOR DYNAMIC AD HOC MULTICAST GROUP USING KEY PATH REDUCTIONR. Pugalenthi, T. V. GopalKey distribution is one of the major issues in secure ad hoc multicast group communication. There has been an extensive research on rekeying, to reduce cost. In this study, we propose an efficient and scalable batch rekeying for dynamic ad hoc multicast group, with variable interval and key path reduction techniques. The proposed scheme overcomes the major existing issues like … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 7 · 16 Jun 2014 · 6,712 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA STOCHASTIC FRONTIER APPROACH FOR MEASURING TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY OF SMALL-SCALE IMPROVED SALT PRODUCTION IN GUINEABoubacar Siddighi Balde, Hajime Kobayashi, Makoto Nohmi et al.Salt production is a major driving force behind the loss of mangrove in Guinea. As the traditional salt production causes increasing deforestation, the intensive exploitation of mangrove resources has now reached a critical threshold. Therefore, improved techniques using sunlight as the source of energy has been introduced as an alternative to the traditional salt production techniques which consumes a significant … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 8 · 14 May 2014 · 7,641 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCorrelation Between Dispersion and Mean Toassess Healthcare Servicee FficiencyRamalingam ShanmugamMotivation for this research work started while helping a hospital administrator to assess whether patient oriented activity duration, X≥0 is reflecting the service’s efficiency? Higher value of the sample mean duration, X implies lesser productivity in the hospital and more healthcare cost. Likewise, larger value of sample dispersion, sx2 in the service durations is an indicator of lesser reliability and … …Current Research in Biostatistics, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 30 Aug 2012 · 6,873 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractTechnical Efficiency of Chili ProductionA. S.M. Anwarul Huq, Fatimah Mohamed ArshadProblem statement: Scarcity of resources has led to production economists to think about the reallocation of existing resources to produce a prescribed level of output with the minimum cost without changing the production technology. But there is a lack of information about the efficient use of inputs in chili production.
