Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsKalman Filtering for Stocks Price Prediction and ControlJimbo Henri Claver, Mbiazi Dave, Shu Felix CheStocks price analysis has been a critical area of research as the stock market is a very fluctuating market. Stocks price is affected by demand and supply dynamics making it difficult to forecast the price of a stock at a particular instant. The entire idea of predicting stocks price is to gain significant profits but predicting how the stock market … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 6 · 20 May 2023 · 6,367 accessesView PDFCite
Technical ReportOpen accessIn the keywordsElectric, Solar and Fuel Car Convertible Boat, Vertical Aircraft Flying SupersonicSeyed Ali Akbar MousaviIn this project I intend to discuss the technology design project that we can speed up relief and aid to those affected by the accident or military, security and political affairs and I've designed a project that electric car and jet fuel with highly capability is able to convert to a boat, vertical aircraft fly and supersonic and has been … …Journal of Aircraft and Spacecraft Technology, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 19 Sep 2020 · 7,982 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Control-Oriented Coverage Metric and its Evaluation for Hardware DesignsShireesh Verma, Kiran Ramineni, Ian G. HarrisProblem statement: Dynamic verification, the use of simulation to determine design correctness, is widely used due to its tractability for large hardware designs. A serious limitation of dynamic techniques is the difficulty in determining whether or not a test sequence is sufficient to detect all likely design errors. Coverage metrics are used to address this problem by providing a set … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2009 · 7,528 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCOVID-19 Pandemic and Religious Attributions. An Exploratory Study in ItalyMaurizio Norcia, Elisa ColìIn 2020, over 2 m Italian people contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus and more than 105 thousand died. A pandemic of this magnitude and the very stringent countermeasures adopted were unprecedented also in terms of its psychological, social, and economic far-reaching effects on people's lives. One of the principal effects of such a tragic and unexpected situation is that of triggering … …Journal of Social Sciences, Vol. 19, Issue 1 · 6 Feb 2023 · 6,720 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCOVID-19 and Cause-Seeking. An Exploratory Study in ItalyMaurizio Norcia, Elisa ColìIn 2020, over 2 million Italian people contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus. A pandemic of this magnitude and the very stringent countermeasures that have been adopted had a disruptive effect on people's lives, at a psychological, social, and economic levels. The exploratory study illustrated in this article focuses on the search for causes carried out by people and prompted by the … …Journal of Social Sciences, Vol. 18, Issue 1 · 10 Jan 2023 · 5,737 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractStatic and Dynamic Location of Variable Impedance Devices for Stability StudiesN. Magaji, M. W. Mustafa, Ado Dan-Isa, A. U. LawanThis study used the concept of model controllability and observability in product form called residue factor to find the best location of Thyristor-Controlled based series and shunt devices called variable impedance devices. The success of this controller depends on its best possible location in busbar or line of power system network. The method is based on the relationship between the … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 5 · 31 May 2013 · 6,625 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEnhancement of Voltage Stability by Optimal Location of Static Var Compensator Using Genetic Algorithm and Particle Swarm OptimizationR. Kalaivani, V. KamarajProblem statement: Voltage instability and voltage collapse have been considered as a major threat to present power system networks due to their stressed operation. It is very important to do the power system analysis with respect to voltage stability. Approach: Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) is an alternating current transmission system incorporating power electronic-based and other static controllers to enhance … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 1 · 11 May 2012 · 9,443 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractOptimal Location of Static Var Compensator Device for Damping OscillationsM. W. Mustafa, N. MagajiProblem statement: Static Var Compensators (SVC) devices are used to improve voltage and reactive power conditions in AC systems. An additional task of SVC is to increase transmission capacity as result of power oscillation damping. The effectiveness of this controller depends on its optimal location and proper signal selection in the power system network. A residue factor had been proposed … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2009 · 8,371 accessesView PDFCite
