Review ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAdaptive Video Quality Model for UHD Video Broadcasting Using the Principle of InclusionUrvashi Pal, Horace KingIn this study, an adaptive video quality algorithm is developed for Ultra High Definition (UHD) video broadcasting through Digital Video Broadcasting by Satellite 2nd Generation (DVB-S2), where three conditions are responsible for enhancing or reducing the quality of a video signal received by the DVB-S2 Set-Top-Box (STB). The conditions are: Coverage area, Distance between transmitter and receiver and Separation distance. … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 20 Nov 2017 · 7,899 accessesView PDFCite
Case ReportOpen accessEvery word in the titleLoad Balancing Technique Based on Broadcasting and Residual Energy Using Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy Protocol (LBEACH)Abdullah Soliman Alshraa, Venus Wazeer SamawiOne of the important factors of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is sensors lifetime. Elongating sensors lifetime increases the benefits from the network capabilities as much as possible. To elongate WSNs lifetime, power consumption should be reduced. To do so, load balance technique is applied to distribute the energy consumption among cluster’s nodes in the WSN. In each cluster, the node … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 6 · 13 Oct 2015 · 6,610 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleHybrid Broadcast Group Management Protocol for Secure, Scalable and Efficient Group CommunicationM. Sayee Kumar, T. PurusothamanIn hasty growth of communication, security plays a central role in maintaining confidentiality of data in group communication. Keeping the data intended for the group in confidential manner is the most important security feature need to be sustained for the group communication. An efficient group key management mechanism named as Hybrid Broadcast Group Management Protocol (HBGMP) is devised based on … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 17 Sep 2014 · 7,054 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAuthenticated Broadcast in Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks using Chinese Remainder Theorem AlgorithmKalyani Palanisamy, ChellappanProblem statement: The security in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is a critical issue due to the inherent limitations of computational capacity, storage capacity and power usage. Key management only makes sure the communicating nodes possess the necessary keys, at the same time protecting the confidentiality, integrity and authenticity of the communicated data. Approach: Proposed a RSA-CRT methodology for authenticated broadcast … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 6 · 14 Jun 2011 · 6,413 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleReliable and Efficient Broadcasting in Asymmetric Mobile Ad Hoc Networks Using Minimized Forward Node List AlgorithmMarimuthu Murugesan, Ammasai KrishnanProblem statement: Network wide broadcasting is a fundamental operation in ad hoc networks. In broadcasting, a source node sends a message to all the other nodes in the network. Unlike in a wired network, a packet transmitted by a node in ad hoc wireless network can reach all neighbors. Therefore, the total number of transmissions (Forwarding nodes) used as the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 27 Dec 2010 · 7,577 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleNodes Density and Broadcast Management in Heterogeneous Environments of Mobile Ad-Hoc NetworksEssam Natsheh, Khalid BuraggaProblem statement: The research presented in this study looks into Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANETs) environment that has varying node densities, called heterogeneous density environment. Such environment can be roughly associated with situations varying from areas struck by disasters to normal city environments. Approach: This study improved the performance of existing MANETs routing protocols by reducing the communication overhead incurred during … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2010 · 7,330 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleReducing Broadcast Overhead Using Clustering Based Broadcast Mechanism in Mobile Ad Hoc NetworkN. Karthikeyan, V. Palanisamy, K. DuraiswamyProblem statement: Network wide broadcasting is an important function in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), which attempts to deliver packets from a source node to all other nodes in the network. Broadcasting is often very useful for route discovery, naming, addressing and helping multicast operations in all kinds of networks. For designing broadcast protocols for ad hoc networks, one of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2009 · 7,031 accessesView PDFCite

It offers learning and data accession opportunities to learners notwithstanding time and place. In academic education, it was found that one of the critical problem is the appreciate education tool for disabilities students. Students with special education have … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 18 Sep 2013 · 7,425 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleClassification Program and Story Boundaries Segmentation in TV News Broadcast Videos via Deep Convolutional Neural NetworkMounira Hmayda, Ridha Ejbali, Mourad ZaiedGiven the amount of video information on the net, the user has had difficulty finding the information in a reasonable amount of time. Thus, all video content must be segmented and annotated so that he/she can access the information directly. The goal of the proposed approach is to allow a better exploitation of video by multimedia services (TV-On- Demand, catch-up … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 5 · 14 May 2020 · 7,743 accessesView PDFCite
