Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsContributions to the Synthesis of Fixed Axle Gears by Avoiding the Interference PhenomenonRelly Victoria Virgil PetrescuIt can be seen that the minimum number of teeth required to avoid interference for the standard pressure angle, normally on the alpha0 = 20° decomposition circle, is 13, corresponding to a transmission ratio i = 1 and increases with the transmission ratio i reaching to the maximum value of 18 teeth for i>100. For normal transmission ratios, values ranging … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 21 May 2019 · 6,488 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSignal Pathway Regulation in Mammalian Cells in Wireless Communication EnvironmentShengdong LiTo regulate the signal pathway in mammalian cells in a wireless communication environment, an LED light stimulation system has been designed and constructed. To avoid interference from too many data lines, a wireless communication mode has been employed. In this study, HeLa cells and Drosophila melanogaster cells are used as the research objects. The CRY2/CIBN light genetic element system is … …American Journal of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Vol. 21, Issue 2 · 24 Nov 2025 · 2,001 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractThe Role of Tshwane Metro Police and the South African Police Service During Service Delivery Protests Crimes in the Tshwane Area (South Africa)Tumiso D. Mokhomole, Dee Khosa, Adewale A. OlutolaThis article exploresthe role of Tshwane Metro Police (TMP) and the South African Police Service(SAPS) during service delivery protests crimes in the Tshwane area of SouthAfrica. To date, both the Metropolitan Police Departments (MPDs) and SAPS workunder immense pressure to curb the rebellion of service delivery protests andrelated crimes across the eight metropolitan municipalities in South Africa. Atpresent, the MPDs … …Journal of Social Sciences, Vol. 18, Issue 1 · 3 Sep 2022 · 6,738 accessesView PDF Cite

Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSome New Gears AspectsFlorian Ion Tiberiu PetrescuIn today's mechanical transmissions most widely used, the gears, are spread across all industries. For this reason, their importance has become overwhelming, which is why we want to recall in this paper some important aspects regarding toothed wheels. It is the geometry, cinematic, the forces and the yields of these mechanisms, which will be presented in the work in the … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 4 · 22 Nov 2018 · 7,077 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSecondary User Sensing Time Optimization in Sensing-Transmission Scheduling for Dynamic Spectrum Access in Cognitive RadioInderdeep Kaur Aulakh, Renu VigThe constraint of limited frequency spectrum for wireless communication is very daunting. The radio spectrum licensed to permanent users is wasted at times when not used continuously. Cognitive radio technology involves a change in regulation of radio spectrum. In cognitive radio networks a secondary user network is designed for efficiently using gaps in spectrum and not causing at the same … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 8 · 5 Nov 2015 · 7,343 accessesView PDF Cite

EditorialOpen accessIn the abstractCRISPR-CAS SYSTEM: A FEASIBLE SOLUTION FOR GETTING RID OF PERSISTENT VIRAL INFECTION?Zhaohua ZhongMany viruses, including DNA and RNA viruses, can persistently replicate in the infected cells and cause a prolonged damage. Herpes viruses can be latent in its host cells. Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) reversely transcripts its RNA genome to DNA and integrates to the host’s chromosome. Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) persistently stay in the host cells … …Current Research in Virology, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 10 Nov 2014 · 12,614 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA New Self-Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System for the Removal of Non-Linear Artifacts from the Respiratory SignalA. Bhavani Sankar, D. Kumar, K. SeethalakshmiProblem statement: In this study, a new ANFIS-based adaptive filter is proposed to remove the non-linear artifacts from the respiratory signal measured using MEMS based accelerometer sensor. The data recorded from the abdomen movement includes the respiratory signal, electromyogram, 50Hz power line interference and the random electrode noise. In order to avoid convergence into local extremes, the system employs ANFIS … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 5 · 16 Feb 2012 · 6,891 accessesView PDF Cite
