Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleDevelopment and Assessment of the English Grammar Asynchronous Online Learning Module before Being Applied in Real LessonAnthony Anggrawan, Christofer SatriaCurrently the orientation of higher education in Indonesia has shifted to online-based education. Unfortunately not all universities are ready to implement asynchronous online teaching. The question is whether the developed asynchronous online teaching module can meet the desired quality qualifications. Therefore the objective of this study is to conduct an assessment of the asynchronous online learning module before it is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 11 · 7 Nov 2020 · 7,290 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Quasi Delay Insensitive Reduced Stack Pre-Charged Half Buffer based High Speed Adder using pipeline templates for Asynchronous CircuitsD. Jayanthi, M. RajaramProblem statement: Recent research in asynchronous design technique is making asynchronous circuits an increasingly practical alternative. These challenges include the increasing pressure for low power, the growing challenges of predicting the increasing impact of wire load and delay and the performance penalty associated with supporting communication between different clock domains Asynchronous is binary signals, but there is no common or … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 7 · 7 Jun 2012 · 7,078 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAsynchronous NoC Router DesignSami Badrouchi, Abdelkrim Zitouni, Kholdoun Torki, Rached TourkiThe Quality of Service Network on Chip (QNoC) is the most perferment solution that provides low latency transfers and power efficient System on Chip (SoC) interconnect. This study presents an asynchronous NoC router, for use in 2-D mesh-connected networks. It comprises multiple interconnected input and output ports and dynamic arbitration mechanisms that resolve any output port conflicts based on the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2005 · 7,414 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleASYNCHRONOUS TIME ENCODER BASED QUASI-STATIC MODELLING FOR HUMAN AREA NETWORK IN VANETR. Vimal Karthick, G. S. Raj, R. Srinivasan et al.Power constraints play a key role in designing Human Area Networks (HANs) for bio authentication vehicle based on driver's identity. To alleviate the power constraints, we advocate a design that uses an asynchronous time encoding mechanisms for representing bio authentication information and the skin surface as the communication channel. Time encoding does not require a clock while allows perfect signal … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 11 · 20 Dec 2014 · 8,060 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleINVESTIGATION ON THE DIAGNOSIS OF SIMPLE AND COMBINES MECHANICAL FAULTS IN ASYNCHRONOUS MOTOR BASED ELECTRIC DRIVESBouras A. Karim, Bouras Slimane, Hadjadj A. Elias et al.In this study, the problems of mechanical unbalance, parallel and angular misalignments and their combinations are analyzed experimentally. Such frequent defects in the drives mainly in the major powers are also responsible for the bearings degradation. However, they have not raised the attention of researchers, given the complexity of their modeling. The combination of the phasic current signal analysis and … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 6 · 11 Apr 2014 · 6,685 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImproving the Quality of Service Guarantee in an Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) NetworkFrancis Joseph Ogwu, Mohammad Talib, Ganiyu Adesola AderounmuThis study presents a technique for improving the quality of service (QoS ) guarantee in an ATM network. In the proposed model, it was assumed that high priority traffic have been allocated a switch resource to guarantee a given QoS and low priority cells are allowed to enter the buffer, to improve the exploitation of reserved resources. The proposed technique … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 11 · 30 Nov 2007 · 6,403 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsMapping UML Component Specifications to JEE ImplementationsJyhjong LinComponent-based Software Engineering (CbSE) has become a well-accepted approach for developing complex software systems due to its significant advantages on composition and reuse. In practice, however, its use still requires the conjunction of a component specification method that describes how system requirements are satisfied in terms of software components. Such a component specification is then implemented in a variety of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 10 · 31 Oct 2007 · 6,478 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsHybrid Traffic Management Model for Multi-Protocol Label Switching NetworkE. R. Naganathan, S. RajagopalanProblem statement: MPLS is a highly scalable, protocol agnostic and data-carrying mechanism. Traffic engineering is the major research area in MPLS due to the emerging requirements of MPLS and the internet usage. A major objective of traffic engineering is to minimize or eliminate high-loss situations. Another goal of traffic engineering is to balance the Quality of Service (QoS) against the … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 12 · 15 Oct 2011 · 7,094 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsFuzzy Logic Controller for Wireless Video TransmissionK. P. Rajesh, K. S. RamaswamiProblem statement: As the Variable Bit Rate (VBR) is high in MPEG, the video experienced long delay and unexpected data loss. In wireless channel, due to noise and interference of other signals transmission rate cannot be predicted. Approach: In this paper we proposed an intelligent fuzzy logic controller for transmission of Moving Picture Expert Group (MPEG-4) video signals over wireless … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 7 · 30 Jun 2011 · 6,950 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractReciprocity Effect between Cognitive Style and Mixed Learning Method on Computer Programming SkillAnthony Anggrawan, Christofer Satria, Mayadi, Ni Gusti Ayu DasrianiMany universities undertake mixed learning to meet the required needs. Mixed learning is a blend of F2F classroom education and online learning education. The strength of mixed learning is that it supports student cognitive styles more than non-mixed learning. The right mix of mixed learning provides more constructive and conducive learning. Meanwhile, the programming language is the primary skill that … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 17, Issue 9 · 30 Sep 2021 · 6,205 accessesView PDFCite
