Ganesh et al.Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a collection of autonomous devices with computational, sensing, and wireless communication capabilities. The sensor nodes are low cost, multi-functional devices that are densely deployed either inside the phenomenon or very close to it and are often powered by independent power sources. The lifetime of such sensor nodes show a strong dependence on lifetime of the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 11 · 30 Nov 2007 · 6,649 accessesView PDF Cite

BabuHigh performance clusters are being configured specially to give data centers that require extreme performance and the processing power they need. When the data is accessed across clusters the data latency time has significant impact on the performance. In the literature it is given that memory and I/O have become the new bottleneck, instead of processing power in achieving efficient … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 31 Jan 2008 · 6,909 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordTowards Solving the Problem of Virtual Machine Placement in Cloud Computing: A Job Classification ApproachAuday Al-Dulaimy, Ahmed Zekri, Wassim Itani, Rached ZantoutCloud Computing is a paradigm that delivers services by providing an access to wide range of shared resources which are hosted in cloud data centers. One of the recent challenges in this paradigm is to enhance the energy efficiency in these data centers. In this study, a model that identifies common patterns for the jobs submitted to the cloud is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 12, Issue 3 · 8 Apr 2016 · 7,291 accessesView PDF Cite
