Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordHybrid Deep Learning Model for Evaluating Subjective Answers Based on Semantic Textual SimilaritySiddhesh Kudtarkar, Kavita ShirsatSubjective answer evaluation requires accurately identifying semantic similarities between student and reference responses. This study introduces a Hybrid Deep Learning Model (HDLM) that integrates CNN, GRU, and LSTM architectures to assess Semantic Textual Similarity (STS) more effectively. The HDLM employs two parallel branches-CNN-GRU and CNN-LSTM to capture both local syntactic features and long-range contextual dependencies, followed by Manhattan distance for … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 4 · 7 Apr 2026 · 1,695 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEvaluating Machine Translation for Domain Specific Low-Resource Nepali-English Language Pairs: The Impact of Tokenization on Statistical and Neural TechniquesAmit Kumar Roy, Bipul Syam PurkayasthaIn the modern era, the field of Machine Translation (MT) has seen a significant shift towards Neural Machine Translation (NMT) techniques, which have surpassed traditional Statistical Machine Translation (SMT) models in terms of the quality of translation. Despite this, the efficacy of these techniques may differ based on the language combination in consideration. While SMT is somewhat more flexible in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 12 · 24 Jan 2026 · 1,926 accessesView PDFCite

Lopez Almansa et al.Problem statement: Accounting for uncertainties that were present in geometric and material data of reinforced concrete buildings was performed in this study within the context of performance based seismic engineering design. Approach: Reliability of the expected performance state is assessed by using various methodologies based on finite element nonlinear static pushover analysis and specialized reliability software package. Reliability approaches that … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 18 Aug 2011 · 7,847 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordPerformance Analysis for the Ontology based Intelligent Information Retrieval using Non Monotonic Inference Logic using SPARQLDr. Rajni Jindal, Alka SinghalThe paper proposes a model for the information retrieval system (E-library) for the learner, based on his current requirements and scenario. It follows a brokerage model using non monotonic logic utilizing semantics and ontology for object description. Ontology captures the learning object properties which can help in eliminating and evaluating the usefulness of the object for a given learner. Non … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 12 · 2 Nov 2017 · 6,620 accessesView PDFCite
