Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordIrrigation System Using Hyperspectral Data and Machnie Learning Techniques for Smart AgricultureSanthi Balachandran, Sourna Lakshmi, Nithya RajendranWater is the main resource for agriculture. Management of water in agricultural field is a challenging process. To manage the water content in the agricultural field, smart irrigation system has been proposed by using fuzzy based decision support system on Hyperspectral Image benchmark dataset. Hyperspectral images are the process of collected and processed the images from electromagnetic spectrum. Recent studies … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 4 · 15 Apr 2020 · 7,683 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAn Approach to Develop a Dynamic Job Shop Scheduling by Fuzzy Rule Based System and Comparative Study with the Traditional Priority RulesRamin Ahmed, Md. Muzahid Khan, Md. Hasibul Haque, Md. Hasibur RahmanThis paper aims at developing a dynamic job shop scheduling by establishing fuzzy rule based system and comparing its effectiveness with the traditional priority rules. In order to understand the priorities of different jobs in a job shop, the paper investigates all the contributing criteria of different parameters. Since the traditional priority rules only emphasis on a single parameter at … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 2 · 11 Feb 2016 · 8,365 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordFuzzy Inference System Based Power Factor Correction of Three Phase Diode Rectifier Using Field Programable Gate ArraySundar Rajan Giri Thulasiraman, Christober Asir RajanThis study describes a novel method in improving the input current total harmonic distortion as well as power factor of a three-phase diode rectifier circuit. In this method, three bidirectional switches comprising MOSFET and four diodes are used across the three-phase supply and load. In a three-phase rectifier only two diodes conduct at any given time. As a result, the … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 9 · 24 Aug 2013 · 6,877 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordFUZZY ROUND ROBIN CPU SCHEDULING ALGORITHMBashir AlamOne problem in Round Robin CPU Scheduling is that if the time required for the running process is slightly more than time quantum even by a fraction value, then process gets preempted and context switch occurs. This causes more waiting time for that process and more overheads due to unnecessary context switch. Another problem with RR scheduling is the value … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 8 · 9 Jul 2013 · 7,909 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordFuzzy System to Authenticate Assisted Living Patients in Their Home EnvironmentMohanavalli Seetha Subramanian, Sheila AnandPatient identity verification is a critical requirement for a remote patient monitoring environment. The health of the patient is monitored and crucial medical decisions are taken based on the physiological data collected from the patient using sensors and sent to distant health care centers or hospitals for real-time monitoring. Therefore it is of utmost importance to associate the received data … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 5 · 18 May 2013 · 6,721 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordHybrid Exponential Particle Swarm Optimization K-Means Algorithm for Efficient Image SegmentationK. M. Murugesan, S. PalaniswamiThe introduction of unsupervised learning techniques like K-means inside the domain of Image Processing plays a vital role in Image Segmentation. The hybridization of this Algorithm by using Swarm Intelligent techniques further more improves the efficiency. Various works on hybridization of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) with K-means have been proposed and are found to be efficient in Image Segmentation. However, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 11 · 25 Oct 2012 · 7,141 accessesView PDFCite
