Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordComparative Power Analysis of Precomputation Based Content Addressable MemoryM. Arun, A. KrishnanProblem statement: In this study we discus about Signature Detection Technique (SDT) used in Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS). Design of SDT using Content Addressable Memory (CAM) is discussed. Approach: Two novel architectures, XOR and ones count based Pre computation CAM architectures are proposed and implemented in third party back end tool with 0.18 mm technology, power consumptions are compared. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 4 · 4 Apr 2011 · 6,598 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordLow Power Hardware Implementation of High Speed FFT CoreM. Kannan, S. K. SrivatsaApplications based on Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) such as signal and image processing require high computational power. This paper proposes the implementation of radix-4 based parallel-pipelined Fast Fourier Transform processor which incorporates a low power commutator, butter-fly with multiplier-less architecture. The proposed parallel pipelined architectures have the advantages of high throughput and low power consumption. The multiplier-less architecture uses shift … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2007 · 7,227 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordHardware Design of Wireless Physical Token Ring System for Mobile and Cell CommunicationNidal F. Shilbayeh, Mahmoud Z. IskandaraniA wireless network system based on an infrared and Laser scanning Physical Token Ring architecture (W-PTRS) was designed, built and tested successfully. The network provides a different way of utilizing the concept of a token ring network but with a higher efficiency related to the speed of data transfer and the ability to parallel process client-server requests leading to a … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 1, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2004 · 6,789 accessesView PDF Cite
