Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPedestrian Detection in RGB-D Data Using Deep AutoencodersPavel Aleksandrovich Kazantsev, Pavel Vyacheslavovich SkribtsovRecent popularity of RGB-D sensors mostly comes from the fact that RGB-images and depth maps supplement each other in machine vision tasks, such as object detection and recognition. This article addresses a problem of RGB and depth data fusion for pedestrian detection. We propose pedestrian detection algorithm that involves fusion of outputs of 2D- and 3D-detectors based on deep autoencoders. … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 11 · 17 Nov 2015 · 6,812 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDECISION TREE BASED OCCLUSION DETECTION IN FACE RECOGNITION AND ESTIMATION OF HUMAN AGE USING BACK PROPAGATION NEURAL NETWORKP. Karthigayani, S. SridharOcclusion detection in face verification is an essential problem that has not widely addressed. In this study the research is deals about occlusion detection in face recognition and estimation of human age using image processing. The objects hide from another object is called as occlusion. Occlusion conditions may vary from face wearing sunglasses, wearing of scarf in the eyes and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 1 · 12 Nov 2013 · 6,770 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSHADOW DETECTION USING COLOR AND EDGE INFORMATIONMaryam Golchin, Fatimah Khalid, Lili Nurliana Abdullah, Seyed Hashem DavarpanahShadows appear in many scenes. Human can easily distinguish shadows from objects, but it is one of the challenges for shadow detection intelligent automated systems. Accurate shadow detection can be difficult due to the illumination variations of the background and similarity between appearance of the objects and the background. Color and edge information are two popular features that have been … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 11 · 5 Oct 2013 · 7,961 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCLUSTER BASED DUPLICATE DETECTIONA. Venkatesh Kumar, S. VengataasalamWe propose a clustering technique for entropy based text dis-similarity calculation of de-duplication system. Improve the quality of grouping; in this study we propose a Multi-Level Group Detection (MLGD) algorithm which produces a most accurate group with most closely related object using Alternative Decision Tree (ADT) technique. Our propose a two new algorithm; first one is Multi-Level Group Detection (MLGD) … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 11 · 28 Sep 2013 · 7,035 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA COMPARISION OF VARIOUS EDGE DETECTION TECHNIQUES IN MOTION PICTURE FOR IDENTIFYING A SHARK FISHShrivakshan Gopal Thiruvangadan, Chelliah ChandrasekarThe significant feature of detecting the motion image objects in this study it try identify the shark fish videos by removing the Background of the image. The main method involved in the detecting from the background is the foreground detection of the image. There are many techniques which usually ignore the fact that the background images consist of different image … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 11 · 18 Sep 2013 · 6,691 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractArtificial Neural Network in Face Detection Human on Digital ImageAbdusamad Al-MarghilaniMethod itself is proposed to be formed by series of filters. Each filter is an independent method of detection and allows you to cut off quickly the regions that do not contain the face’s areas. For this purpose some of the different characteristics of the object are used in addition each subsequent part processes only promising areas of image which … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 10 · 6 Sep 2013 · 6,691 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEnhanced Ensemble Prediction Algorithms for Detecting Faulty Modules in Object Oriented Systems Using Quality MetricsM. Punithavalli, C. NeelamegamThe high usage of software system poses high quality demand from users, which results in increased software complexity. To address these complexities, software quality engineering methods should be updated accordingly and enhance their quality assuring methods. Fault prediction, a sub-task of SQE, is designed to solve this issue and provide a strategy to identify faulty parts of a program, so … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 12 · 20 Dec 2012 · 6,435 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Alternative Graph Cut Algorithm for Morphological Edge DetectionP. RadhakrishnanProblem statement: Image analysis has some basic importance of edge detection. Characterize the object boundaries are helpful for object segmentation, registration and identification in a scene. There are many methods for edge detection, but it can be identified by two major methods, search-based and zero-crossing based. Approach: Proposed method tries to follow searching the edge points by applying graph cuts … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 7 · 29 May 2012 · 6,897 accessesView PDFCite
