Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMATURITY MODEL TO MEASURE THE GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS OF INDONESIA (THE ENVIRONMENT BUREAUCRACY OF EDUCATION) IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF E-GOVERNMENTBambang Saras Yulistiawan, Harjanto Prabowo, Dyah Budhiastuti, Ford Lumban GaolImplementation of e-Government are expected to be solution in the care system, but in the process will be a challenge that has a risk of failure. In this study will result in a maturity model that becomes the size of maturity/readiness of a government institution when it will make the process of e-Government implementation. With the results of this dissertation … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 12 · 17 Jan 2015 · 8,109 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractIMPLEMENTATION OF ANFIS FOR GPS-AIDED INS UAV MOTION SENSING AT SHORT TERM GPS OUTAGEChot Hun Lim, Tien Sze Lim, Voon Chet KooThe recent improvement in Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) technology has enabled the evolvement of Inertial Navigation Unit (INU) to be built on top of a low cost, small size Integrated Circuit (IC) chip. Due to the nature of the MEMS INU, its outputs are normally corrupted by the resided stochastic noise. A common practice to regulate its measurements into usable motion … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 12 · 29 Dec 2014 · 8,130 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractApplication Specific Integrated Circuits Design and Implementation of Rademacher and Walsh FunctionsA. Abbasi, A. R.M. Alamoud, S. A. AbbasiThe orthogonal functions, specially the Rademacher and Walsh functions are being increasingly used in Digital Signal Processing (DSP). Today’s DSP applications require fast processing time in order to meet the challenges of the real time systems. State-of-the-art implementation technologies are therefore being used. This study describes the design and implementation of Rademacher and Walsh functions targeted to the state-of-the-art Cell … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 6, Issue 4 · 7 Jan 2014 · 7,340 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEmpirical Performance Metrics Study of Execution of Database Queries in Implementation of Web ServicesK. Velmurugan, M. A. Maluk MohamedProblem statement: Web services are increasingly being deployed in business applications, due to its unique features such as flexibility, interoperability and other features. Most of the business applications involve extensive use of database operations for data management in back end. Further business applications demand very high level of performance from software solutions and it is a continual and never-ending process. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 8 · 30 Jul 2012 · 6,737 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractReliability Centered Maintenance in Schedule Improvement of Automotive Assembly IndustryRizauddin Ramli, Mohammad Nizam ArffinProblem statement: Today, in many automotive manufacturing companies, maintenance management is an important factor to maintain the plant operation and production equipments. Approach: In this study, we present an implementation of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) practice in one of the automotive manufacturing company in Malaysia. The RCM practice was used to assist the company in focusing their maintenance activities based … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 8 · 27 Jun 2012 · 7,974 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Study of Network Traffic Pattern and its Impact on Performance in Implementation of Web ServicesK. Velmurugan, M. A.M. MohamedProblem statement: Currently it is evident that the web service is emerging as a solution for business applications and deployment of web services witnesses exponential growth. Web services rely on networks particularly internet for implementing and consuming them in different applications. Whenever a network is involved in a software system, network traffic payload measurement and communication pattern play a key … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 1 · 27 Apr 2012 · 8,534 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFPGA-Based Architecture for a Generalized Parallel 2-D MRI Filtering AlgorithmSami Hasan, Said Boussakta, Alex YakovlevProblem statement: Current Neuroimaging developments, in biological research and diagnostics, demand an edge-defined and noise-free MRI scans. Thus, this study presents a generalized parallel 2-D MRI filtering algorithm with their FPGA-based implementation in a single unified architecture. The parallel 2-D MRI filtering algorithms are Edge, Sobel X, Sobel Y, Sobel X-Y, Blur, Smooth, Sharpen, Gaussian and Beta (HYB). Then, the … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 4 · 20 Feb 2012 · 8,021 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHigh Performance Computing on Fast Lock Delay Locked Loop with Low Power State and Simultanoeus Switching Noise ReductionT. S. Karthik, V. Jawahar Senthil KumarProblem statement: In any multimedia processor, controller may consume most of the on-chip memory resources. The memory requirement is directly depends on algorithm shared by different blocks, so leads to failure in the system models. Approach: This study presents the implementation of DLL unit used for memory optimization. Various aspects of the underlying coarse lock detector are explored and modifications … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 3 · 6 Jan 2012 · 7,172 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign and Implementation of an Efficient Software Communications Architecture Core Framework for a Digital Signal Processors PlatformWael A. Murtada, Mohamed M. Zahra, Magdi Fikri et al.Problem statement: The Software Communications Architecture (SCA) was developed to improve software reuse and interoperability in Software Defined Radios (SDR). There had been performance concerns since its conception. Arguably, the majority of the problems and inefficiencies associated with the SCA can be attributed to the assumption of modular distributed platforms relying on General Purpose Processors (GPPs) to perform all signal … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 29 Nov 2011 · 7,495 accessesView PDFCite
