Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordDevelopment of an Energy-Efficient, Secure and Reliable Wireless Sensor Networks Routing Protocol Based on Data Aggregation and User AuthenticationA. Gopi Saminathan, S. KarthikData aggregation protocols are required in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) to improve the data accuracy and extend the network lifetime by reducing the energy consumption. The existing Data Aggregation-Optimal LEACH (DAO-LEACH) protocol for WSN is enhanced in terms of security and fault-tolerance based on Gracefully Degraded Data Aggregation (GDDA) to ensure the integrity of the aggregated data and Hybrid Layer … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 8 · 24 Jul 2013 · 6,855 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEfficient Face Recognition in Video by Bit Planes SlicingM. Jasmine Pemeena Priyadarsini, K. Murugesan, Srinivasa Rao Inbathini, Visal KumarProblem statement: Video-based face recognition must be able to overcome the imaging interference such as pose and illumination. Approach: A model is designed to study for face recognition based on video sequence and also test image. In training stage, single frontal image is taken as a input to the recognition system. A new virtual image is generated using bit plane … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 26 Oct 2011 · 7,420 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordCTSS: A Tool for Efficient Information Extraction with Soft Matching Rules for Text MiningA. Christy, P. ThambiduraiThe abundance of information available digitally in modern world had made a demand for structured information. The problem of text mining which dealt with discovering useful information from unstructured text had attracted the attention of researchers. The role of Information Extraction (IE) software was to identify relevant information from texts, extracting information from a variety of sources and aggregating it … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 5 · 31 May 2008 · 6,892 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEfficient Resource Allocation and Task Scheduling in a Cloud Computing Environment using Swarm IntelligencePanuganti Hanumantha Rao, Rajakumar Subramanian, Geetha SomanThe new age of network-based computing, known as "cloud computing," is characterized by the distribution and sharing of resources over a network. These resources are available to anyone through the Internet on a pay-per-use basis. Any service that anybody uses can generate massive amounts of data. Therefore, in this scenario, there will be a significant cost associated with transferring data … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 12 · 7 Nov 2024 · 4,716 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAn Extended Semi-Parametric Accelerated Failure Time Cure Model for Partial Cure Information KnownYu Wu, Yong Lin, Shou-En Lu et al.Cure model is a useful model for analyzing failure time data when there is evidence of long-term survivors. In traditional cure models, it is assumed that the cured or uncured status in the censored set cannot be distinguished. However, in many occasions, data of some diagnostic procedures, with some sensitivity and specificity, may have provided partial information about the cured … …Current Research in Biostatistics, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 11 Dec 2018 · 7,618 accessesView PDFCite

KarthikeyanWith the growing industrial impact over the recent years in computer science, data mining has established itself as one of the most important disciplines. In the fast growing Web and in an appropriate amount of time, locating the resources that are precise and relevant is a huge challenge for the all-purpose single process crawlers, which makes the enhanced and the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 1 · 13 Sep 2014 · 7,940 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordPERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF HIGH EFFICIENT AND LOW POWER ARCHITECTURE FOR FUZZY BASED IMAGE FUSIONS. Anbumozhi, P. S. ManoharanImage fusion based on wavelet transform is the most commonly used image fusion method, which fuses the source images’ information in wavelet domain according to some fusion rules. But because of the uncertainties of the source images’ contributions to the fused image, how to design a good fusion rule to integrate as much information as possible into the fused image … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 5 · 21 Feb 2014 · 6,753 accessesView PDFCite
