Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAn Efficient Prediction of Missing Itemset in Shopping CartV. Palanisamy, M. NirmalaMany researches has focused mainly on how to expedite the search for frequently co-occurring groups of items in &#34shopping cart&#34 and less attention has been paid to the methods that exploit these &#34frequent itemsets&#34 for prediction purposes. This study contributes to this task by proposing a technique that uses the partial information about the contents of a shopping cart for … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 1 · 8 Feb 2013 · 7,044 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordConsistent and Proficient Algorithm for Data Gathering in Wireless Sensor NetworksP. Balamurugan, K. DuraiswamyProblem statement: A wireless sensor network is usually deployed in a harsh geographical area to gather data that can be delivered to the remotely located base station. Sensor nodes have irreplaceable energy source, limited computational capability and limited memory. It is a challenge to maximize the use of energy of these sensor nodes to extend the network lifetime. Approach: This … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 9 · 25 Jul 2011 · 6,737 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEfficient Text Data Hiding Technique Using Cryptography and SteganographyNor Fazlida Mohd Sani, Mohamad Adreen NujjaidSteganography serves as a technique for covertly embedding confidential information within other data, ensuring that both the existence and content of this hidden data remain undisclosed to unauthorized parties. Its applications span diverse domains, including military operations, online payment systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Steganography proves highly adaptable in concealing data, as information with an unknown presence escapes … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 1 · 3 Dec 2024 · 5,990 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEfficient Web Usage Miner Using Decisive Induction RulesK. Poongothai, S. SathiyabamaProblem statement: Web usage mining is the technique of extracting useful information from server logs (user’s history) and finding out what users are looking for on the Internet. This type of web mining allows for the collection of Web access data for Web pages. Scope: The web usage data provides the paths leading to accessed Web pages with prefrences and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 6 · 14 Mar 2012 · 6,907 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAn Efficient Way for Clustering Using Alternative Decision TreeE. Gothai, P. BalasubramanieProblem statement: To Improve the quality of clustering; a Multi-Level Clustering (MLC) algorithm which produces a most accurate cluster with most closely related object using Alternative Decision Tree (ADT) technique is proposed. Approach: Our proposed method combines tree projection and condition for clustering formation and also is capable to produce a customizable cluster for varying kind of data along with … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 4 · 13 Feb 2012 · 6,742 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordEfficient Image Integration Technique: Mismatch of Subjective and Objective AnalysisSetika Mehra, Ayush Dogra, Bhawna Goyal et al.The paper intends to extract features with high visual quality during image fusion. An improved image fusion algorithm is presented, aiming to preserve necessary features and relevant information, simultaneously focusing on highly enhanced visual results. The resultant fused image obtained is superior to other images obtained from other state-of-the-art techniques with respect to visual quality. A novel and improved image … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 10 · 19 Oct 2019 · 7,613 accessesView PDFCite
