Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleOptimized Energy Efficient Virtual Machine Placement Algorithm and Techniques for Cloud Data CentersSanjay Patel, Ramji M. MakwanaCloud computing is an internet based computing technology that provide on demand computing for end users. Normally, data centers allocation for application on statically based. But today so many data centers have a problem how to reduce energy consumption? Due to increase use of cloud services and infrastructure by various cloud providers, uses of energy day by day increase that's … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 12, Issue 9 · 24 Nov 2016 · 7,356 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAn Efficient Denoising Algorithm for Impulse Noise RemovalA. Rajamani, V. KrishnaveniNow-a-days the images acquired by the digital cameras and defective sensors tend to introduce noises during either image acquisition or transmission process. The quality of the image is degraded in a significant measure. Lot of research works was carried out for several decades to denoise the impulse noise and each approach has its own merits and demerits. This study deals … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 1 · 10 Sep 2014 · 6,814 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAn Efficient Implementation of Weighted Fuzzy Fisherface Algorithm for Face Recognition Using Wavelet TransformEsther Annlin Kala James, S. AnnaduraiProblem statement: The paper addresses the face recognition problem by proposing Weighted Fuzzy Fisherface (WFF) technique using biorthogonal transformation. The weighted fuzzy fisherface technique was an extension of Fisher Face technique by introducing fuzzy class membership to each training sample in calculating the scatter matrices. Approach: In weighted fuzzy fisherface method, weight emphasizes classes that were close together and deemphasizes … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 26 Oct 2011 · 7,345 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEfficient Detection Algorithm for a Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output Multiuser Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access in Time-Varying ChannelsFares Sayadi, Mahamod Ismail, Norbahiah Misran et al.Problem statement: Maximum Likelihood (ML) decoding has been applied for the uplink of a Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) system based on Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) channel from k users, which moves at vehicular speed, to the Base-Station (BS) is time-varying. For time-varying channels, Sphere Decoding (SD) was introduced to perform ML decoding. Whereas, computational … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 4 · 31 Dec 2009 · 7,576 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAn Efficient Combined Call Admission Control and Scheduling Algorithm to Improve Quality of Service for Multimedia Services Over Next Generation Wireless NetworksG. Nantha Kumar, A. ArokiasamyWe nominate a weighted service queuing approach, each service queue is allotted a preset priority weight and Call Admission Control scheme for service classes defined in IEEE 802.16 standard. Different group of queues have been implemented to transmit different service classes. Allocation of bandwidth usage of each service classes are relying on maximum data that could take part in connection … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 2 · 20 Sep 2014 · 6,482 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAN EFFICIENT HYBRID ALGORITHM TO REDUCE LATENCY IN AD-HOC AGGREGATIONN. Rajkumar, N. K. Senthil Kumar, P. Subha, R. KavithaA data warehouse is a collection of data gathered and organized so that it can easily be analyzed, extracted, synthesized and also be used for the purpose of further understanding data. Peer to Peer networks are used for distribution and sharing of documents. In traditional techniques, when aggregate functions like average, sum and count are encountered, the aggregate operation is … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 7 · 18 Feb 2014 · 6,908 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsCognitively Inspired Algorithm for Imprecise NavigationMelissa Shahrom, Zalilah Abd AzizThis paper presents an algorithm, namely the private navigation algorithm. The aim of this algorithm is to bridge the gap between high quality navigation services and low quality of location information or imprecise data. Generally, the imprecision is due to the poor positioning technology and the algorithms use to protect location privacy. The benefits of the algorithm are at least … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 12, Issue 6 · 14 Jul 2016 · 7,097 accessesView PDFCite
