Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleA Multi-Split Cross-Strategy for Enhancing Machine Learning Algorithms Prediction Results with Data Generated by Conditional Generative Adversarial NetworkAbdelfattah Abassi, Brahim Bakkas et al.In this study, we present a Multi-Split Cross-Strategy (MSC-Strategy) designed to leverage synthetic tabular data generated by a Conditional Generative Adversarial Network (CGAN). Our study aims to investigate the potential of synthetic data in comparison to real-world data for improving machine learning predictive results. Firstly, we develop a CGAN architecture tailored to generate synthetic tabular data, trained on a comprehensive … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 7 · 9 Apr 2024 · 6,695 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleImproving the Exploration Strategy of an Automated Android GUI Testing Tool based on the Q-Learning Algorithm by Selecting Potential ActionsGoh Kwang Yi, Salmi Binti Baharom, Jamilah DinResearchers have proposed automated testing tools to minimise the effort and resources spent on testing GUIs. A relatively simple strategy employed by the proposed tools thus far is the observe-select-execute approach, where all of a GUI’s actions on its current state are observed, one action is selected and the selected action is executed on the software. The strategy’s key function … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 2 · 2 Mar 2022 · 6,783 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRationalizing Resource Utilization in Cloud Computing Using Coalition Formation StrategyHend Fakhri Noureldin, Mai FadelEven though the contribution of cloud computing towards the Sustainable Development (SD) of communities is still under research investigation, cloud computing has become an integral part of many ICT solutions that shape our daily lives. Thus, some researchers recommend taking considerable actions to point cloud computing development towards supporting SD. In this research, an approach to designing energy efficient cloud … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 17, Issue 6 · 15 Jun 2021 · 6,978 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titlePerformance Comparison of Passive Fault Tolerant Control Strategy with PI and Fuzzy Control of Single-Tank Level Process with Sensor and System FaultHimanshukumar R. Patel, Vipul A. ShahFault-Tolerant Control (FTC) strategy has gain maximum attention in recent years in chemical industries due to economical and safety hazards perspective. Targeting at the decreasing control performance of the single-tank level control process under the constraint of system and sensor faults, this article presents model-based Passive Fault-Tolerant Control (PFTC) strategy which are based on conventional and artificial intelligence control.
