Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractBidirectional Blockchain-Based Secure Data Transfer Using GALOEEM Routing Protocol in WSNAnitha Rajakumari Ponjothi, Pritee ParwekarData exchange is hampered by the fact that warehouse data are distributed among warehouses. To propose a secure bidirectional blockchain-based data-sharing system that collects warehouse data and controls data sharing through bidirectional transformation. This study is proposed for establishing an efficient bi-directional data warehouse storage for script less blockchains with an infinite lifespan. The sensor provides the data used in … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 8 · 20 Jul 2023 · 5,815 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPrice of Anarchy and Price of Stability Mapping for Analyzing Topology Design of Communication NetworksKanmani S., M. MuraliThe goal of game theory is to model actions among players or users in a common space who deal with various situations and face various outcomes. The study of game theory is widely applied to a wide range of economic fields, including auctions, renewable energy, wireless sensor networks, and software defined networks. Resource allocation and cooperation between networks or terminals … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 5 · 15 Apr 2023 · 5,127 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractStrengthening the Integrity of Forwarding First Communication Using Forward Key Chain and Bloom Filter in the Wireless Sensor NetworksMuhammad Taqqyyudin Ilham Ramadhan, Farah Afianti, Bambang Ari Wahyudi et al.Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are collections of sensor nodes that can help people monitor things wirelessly, replacing the need for human presence in hard-to-reach areas. While forwarding first communication reduces communication delays among the sensor nodes, it lacks a security mechanism. Since sensor nodes have limited resources, using complex security measures can shorten their lifetime. This study proposes a protocol … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 3 · 14 Feb 2023 · 5,661 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEnergy and Distance Aware Multi-Objective Firebug Swarm Optimization Based Clustering and Routing in Wireless Sensor NetworksGundeboyina Srinivasalu, Hanumanthappa UmadeviIn recent years, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have received increased international attention due to advancements in the communication, electronics, and information fields. These sensor networks integrate a huge number of sensor nodes to track rapidly changing physical events. The key improvement is that these nodes can be easily positioned in any environment due to their small size. Therefore, maintaining network … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 3 · 10 Feb 2023 · 6,029 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCredence Aware Data Aggregation for Wireless Sensor NetworksSwathi S, Yogish H K, Deepa Yogish, Asha NTo ensure data's reliability and credibility in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), we provide an effective Credence-aware in-network aggregation design in persistent wireless sensor networks. This approach was motivated by a well-studied reputation and Credence relationships within social sciences. The proposed method uses an efficient CSDA algorithm to get more accurate results in terms of response time, penalty weights, the number … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 18, Issue 4 · 27 Apr 2022 · 6,388 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAI-Based Techniques for DDoS Attack Detection in WSN: A Systematic Literature ReviewMohammed Al-Naeem, Mohammed Ashikur Rahman, Adamu AbuBakar Ibrahim, M.M. Hafizur RahmanWireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are currently being used in various industries such as healthcare, engineering, the environment and so on. Security is a significant issue for WSN due to its infrastructure and limited physical security. Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) is one of the most vulnerable attacks that can be defined as attacks launched from multiple ends into a set … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 6 · 29 Jun 2020 · 8,375 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFault Node Detection and Connectivity Restoration with Mobile Relay Node in Wireless Sensor NetworksM.P. Anuradha, A.M. Swetha, Manivannan DoraipandianIn Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), node failure is an imperative concern in a hostile environment. These node failures create disjoints in the network and leads to a network partitioning problem. It is important for the nodes to be alive and communicate with each other to check the network connectivity. Replacement of Mobile Relay Nodes (MRN) in the location of faulty … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 4 · 1 Apr 2020 · 7,917 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractImplementation of Homomorphic Encryption for Wireless Sensor Networks Integrated with Cloud InfrastructureChristophe Ishimwe Ngabo, Omar El BeqqaliWith the current explosion of cloud services, it is easy for everyone to store the prodigious amount of data on remote servers. On the other hand, service providers are given full access to our information, or in the worst case, can be intercepted by malicious people. The solution is to encrypt the data to make it completely secret. But then, … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 2 · 8 Feb 2019 · 7,668 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Comparative Study of Mobility Models for Wireless Sensor NetworksAnas Abu TalebWireless sensor networks consist of hundreds or thousands of small, lightweight and low-powered sensor nodes that are deployed in the area of interest to collect information in an unattended manner. Since sensor nodes have limited battery, many research papers proposed techniques to enhance the performance and lifetime of wireless sensor networks. Using energy rich mobile sink to collect data from … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 10 · 10 Oct 2018 · 8,063 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractTask Scheduling in Real Time Systems with Energy Harvesting and Energy MinimizationArvind Kumar, Bashir AlamEnergy is a major concern in battery operated real time devices (e.g. sensor nodes situated in remote areas) as battery life is solely responsible for the functioning of such devices. For such systems to work continuously and successively a regular source of energy is required. The lifetime of such systems can be increased by reducing the energy consumption and increasing … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 8 · 15 Aug 2018 · 8,287 accessesView PDFCite
