Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractLow-Loss Hand-Made Demultiplexer using Transparent Color Filter in WDM-POF Network for Short-Haul Communication SystemMohd Syuhaimi Ab. Rahman, L. S. Supian, Hadi Guna et al.Problem statement: Polymer optical fiber has advantages compared to other alternatives communication media such as copper, coax cable and glass fiber. POF has bigger bandwidth compared to wireless communication network and POF is also free from electromagnetic disruption. Since POF is suitable for communication system up to distance of 100 m with data speed of 400 Mbps using polymer step-index … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 4 · 30 Jan 2012 · 7,094 accessesView PDFCite

EditorialOpen accessIn the abstractRe-Paving the Road Built by Chemistry: A Challenge to Biochemistry and BiotechnologyAlberto A. IglesiasBiochemistry’s birth can be placed at the end of the nineteenth century, when Eduard Buchner made a clever interpretation of experimental observations on the generation of gas bubbles after addition (the original purpose was preservation) of sucrose to a yeast crude extract (Lagerkvist, 2005). Intelligently, Buchner concluded that the disaccharide had been fermented by broken cells’ suspension to produce CO2, … …American Journal of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Vol. 11, Issue 1 · 26 Jan 2015 · 7,468 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Analysis of Power Aware Congestion Control Multipath Multicast Protocol for Mobile Ad hoc NetworkDuraiswamy Karuppaswamy, Vijayaragavan ShanmugamProblem statement: In MANETs, wireless link transmission errors, mobility and congestion are major causes for packet loss. Mobility may cause packet loss in different ways. Whereas congestion in a network occurs, whenever the demands exceed the maximum capacity of a communication link especially when multiple hosts try to access a shared media simultaneously. Approach: In this study, we proposed a … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 12 · 2 Nov 2010 · 7,044 accessesView PDFCite
