Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAnalysis of Interaction Design Patterns on Drawing Application for Early Preschool Children using Inductive Approach (Case Study: ABC Coloring Book for Toddlers and Tracer-hand Writing Pattern Drawing Application)Indah Mekar Sari, Dana Sulistiyo Kusumo, Mira Kania SabariahNowadays, there are many game applications that are used as a medium of interactive learning for children. One of them can help early preschool children to learn drawing. Using interaction data, we conducted an inductive approach to identify children's interaction patterns on drawing applications. We observed the used of two drawing applications: "ABC Coloring Book for Toddlers" and "Tracer-Hand Writing … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 13, Issue 12 · 13 Dec 2017 · 7,580 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMultilevel Mixed Analysis and Mapping on Divorce Problem in UAEFaisal G. KhamisDespite the wealth of research investigating the divorce problem in the developed countries, few and inconsistent studies investigated this problem at emirate-level in developing countries, such as United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Questions are raised whether divorce is changed over time and whether clustering in divorce exists within emirates in UAE. The objectives are to investigate the change in divorce … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 12, Issue 4 · 31 Oct 2016 · 7,302 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEFFICIENT RANKED AND SECURE FILE RETRIEVAL IN CLOUD COMPUTINGJ. Jospin Jeya, E. KannanCloud computing facilitates extremely scalable services that can be consumed over internet. An important aspect of the cloud services is that user data are stored remotely in unknown machines in which users do not posses or manage. Since the data’s are stored remotely, we have to keep in mind that sensitive cloud data have to be encrypted before they are … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 6 · 3 Apr 2014 · 6,856 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAN AGENT BASED FRAMEWORK FOR SENTIMENT CLASSIFICATION OF ONLINE REVIEWS USING ONTOLOGYP. Kalaivani, K. L. ShunmuganathanIn this study, we design and develop an agent based framework for sentiment classification of online reviews using ontology. The book review ranking is based on the sentiment classification result. We propose a novel approach with the help of the JADE platform to solve problems by non-visual automatic sentiment classification. The description of book reviews ranking are generated from the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 5 · 15 Jan 2014 · 6,748 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractSingle Core Hardware Module to Implement Boolean Function Classification TechniquesMohd. Marufuzzaman, Md. Mamun, Fazidah Hanim Hashim, Labonnah F. RahmanProblem statement: Boolean function classification plays an important role in the field like technology mapping for digital circuit design, function mapping for minimization and the development of universal logic modules. Approach: In this study, we present a single core hardware module to implement Boolean function classification techniques on Altera FLEX10K FPGA device for lossless data compression. The compression algorithm was … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 11 · 7 Oct 2011 · 7,412 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractNormalized Relational Storage for Extensible Markup Language (XML) SchemaKamsuriah Ahmad, Reduan SamadProblem statement: The use of XML as the common formats for representing, exchanging, storing, integrating and accessing data posses many new challenges to database systems. Most of application data are stored in relational databases due to its popularity and rich development experiences over it. Therefore, how to provide a proper mapping approach from XML model to relational model become the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 11 · 24 Aug 2011 · 6,840 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHybrid Auditory Based Interaction Framework for Driver Assistance SystemDalbir SinghProblem statement: The rapid development of Driver Assistance System (DAS) provides drivers with radically enhanced information and functionality. The nature of the current DAS requires a complex human-machine interaction which is distracting and may increase the risk of road accidents. The interaction between the driver and DAS should aid the driving process without interfering with safety and ease of vehicle … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 12 · 22 Nov 2010 · 7,190 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign and Analysis of Virtual Bus Transport Using Synchronous Digital Hierarchy/Synchronous Optical NetworkingR. Hassan, J. Irvine, I. GloverThis study presented a new data link layer design for the virtual bus architecture. The virtual bus is a hierarchical access network offered a broadcast capability for data and signaling. The proposed of the study is to support Quality of Service (QoS) in network. During study, the most promising technology capable of delivering full service access at high data rates … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2009 · 6,967 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractReal-Time Connect 4 Game Using Artificial IntelligenceAhmad M. Sarhan, Adnan Shaout, Michele ShockProblem statement: The study presented a design that converted connect 4 game into a real-time game by incorporating time restraints. Approach: The design used Artificial Intelligence (AI) in implementing the connect 4 game. The AI for this game was based on influence mapping. Results: A waterfall-based AI software was developed for a Connect 4 game. Conclusion: A real time connect … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2009 · 8,221 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractFrom Design Specification to SystemCRachid Boudour, Mohamed T. KimourIn this paper, we present a framework for transforming the design model into SystemC code. Such a framework uses as input UML state machine and object diagrams, which are more and more used as design models in embedded systems. To do this, we have firstly used Poseidon tool for editing the design model and generating the XMI representation, and secondly … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2006 · 7,207 accessesView PDFCite
