Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractMachine Motion Equations Presented in a New General FormatNicolae Petrescu, Florian Ion Tiberiu PetrescuConsidering the increased importance of robots nowadays, when no large factory or factory can work without robots, we want to present in the work the motion equations of the machine in an original form, both in terms of aspect and their deduction. The machine's motion equations can be used in dynamic calculations at any type of machine, whether it be … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 22 May 2019 · 6,131 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractRehabilitation of a Human Arm Supported by a Robotic Manipulator: A Position/Force Cooperative ControlHaifa Mehdi, Olfa BoubakerProblem statement: The assistance of person with limited ability of arm movement is necessary for rehabilitation reasons. This aid is required not only to cover the human performances of the arm in motion and force but also to have a strictly stable dynamics. In this study, we proposed a cooperative system between a disabled arm and a robotic manipulator to … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2010 · 7,456 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractReal Time Implementation of NARMA-L2 Control of a Single Link ManipulatorS.S. Mokri, H. Husain, W. Martono, A. ShafieNonlinearities and parametric uncertainties are unavoidable problems faced in controlling robot manipulator. A single link manipulator driven by a permanent magnet brushed dc motor is a nonlinear dynamics due to effects of gravitational force, mass of the payload, posture of the manipulator and viscous friction coefficient. Furthermore, uncertainties arise because of changes of the rotor resistance with temperature and random … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 5, Issue 12 · 31 Dec 2008 · 7,761 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAdaptive Control of Robotic Manipulators with Improvement of the Transient Behavior Through an Intelligent Supervision of the Free-Design Parameters and the Sampling PeriodM. De La Sen, A. Almansa, J.C. SotoAn adaptive control scheme for mechanical manipulators proposed. The control loop consists of a network for learning the robot's inverse dynamics and on-line generating the control signal. Some simulation results were provided to evaluate the design. A supervisor was used to improve the performances of the system during the adaptation transients. The supervisor exerts two supervisory actions. The first one … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 6 · 30 Jun 2007 · 6,881 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign and Implementation of an Adaptive Control for a RobotIraj Hassanzadeh, Abbas Harifi, Farid ArvaniThis research investigates the performance of an adaptive controller for five-bar linkage robot. The proposed controller was entirely independent on the physical specifications of the robot. The controller was examined as the dynamics of the mechanical system varies for various environment conditions, which make it an ambiguous system. In this study, the introduced controller was designed based on the governing … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2007 · 6,645 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordUnicycle Robot’s Navigation Control with Obstacle Avoidance and Asymptotic StabilityJuan Andrés Roteta Lannes, Andres Gabriel GarciaThis study builds upon the groundbreaking research of Asymptotic stability of unicycle-like robots with the Bessel’s controller continuing the exploration of asymptotic stability for non-holonomic robots through kinematic modeling that allows for obstacle avoidance. utilizing the previously derived Bessel's controller, the study defines an avoidance region containing obstacles, presenting an algorithm that relies solely on the distance to the obstacle. … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 17, Issue 1 · 28 Feb 2024 · 5,037 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAbout the Space RobotsRelly Victoria Virgil PetrescuToday, robots help us more than ever in all major operations, everyday life and become a daily reality, making it an integral part of major human projects. If they are still the majority in the machine industry, they will soon become as many in other industries and at the same time will grow strongly for human support in conquering extraterrestrial … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 25 May 2019 · 6,962 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordAbout Robotics, Mechatronics and Automation that Help us Conquer the Cosmic SpaceRelly Victoria Virgil PetrescuHere we have to mention that all these SF writings and many others that have existed over time, especially in the 20th century, have influenced alongside obvious screenings, young people and not just them, to think more about our role, robots, into a better world. The robot's key role is to help the man make his work easier, safer, more … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 6 May 2019 · 6,745 accessesView PDFCite
