Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA Novel Deep Learning Approach for Tomato Leaf Disease Detection Using Optimized CNN ArchitectureSunil K. Vithalani, Vipul K. DabhiEarly disease detection in plants is essential for sustaining agricultural yield and guaranteeing food security. A comparative analysis of transformer-based and convolutional based deep learning models for classifying tomato leaf diseases is presented. Specifically, it examines the performance of a Vision Transformer (ViT), tested both in a form of scratch training setup and through transfer learning, against well-known CNN architectures … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 1 · 7 Feb 2026 · 3,917 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAssessing Potential Investment Return of Basil (Ocimum Basillicum P.) using Fuzzy Logic and Investment Analysis Criteria for Environmental-Based AgricultureHeraldo Yusron Purwantono, Ditdit Nugeraha UtamaIndonesia is one of Southeast Asia's most populous and big countries. It was well-known for its richness of natural resources. Indonesia is one of the world's largest tropical countries, because of its tropical environment. According to the statistics, however, arable land in Indonesia has declined dramatically over the years in response to increased demand for residential areas. Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractProductive and Economic Performances of Magelang Duck Fed on Fermented Kariba WeedAgus Setiadi, Siswanto Imam Santoso, Edjeng Suprijatna et al.The duck farming business faces the high feeding costs problem. Kariba Weed (KW) is an alternative feed that has been widely used as a source of ducks' feeding materials. However, a problem exists because KW contains high crude fibre. Fermented KW that contains microbes will reduce the crude fibre content, leading to a good quality of duck meat. This study … …American Journal of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Vol. 16, Issue 4 · 21 Nov 2021 · 6,561 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractOrganic Fertilizers: An Agroecological and Commercial Bet On Smallholders in the Sumapaz RegionElizabeth Ann Escobar Cazal, Taha Ahmadi, Diego Fabián Bejarano Morales et al.The feasibility of an agroecological project is supported, among other factors, by the cost-benefit relationship, which tends to shift profitability paradigms on organic fertilizers within the context of long-term finances. For this purpose, the objective of this paper is to carry out a financial study to market organic fertilizers (compost and vermicompost) in the Sumapaz region. An initial analysis of … …OnLine Journal of Biological Sciences, Vol. 20, Issue 2 · 29 Jul 2020 · 6,991 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAir Quality Interpretation of Four Geographically Distinct Hot Spot States of India-An Appraisal Using Aerosol Optical Depth and Particulate MatterJacob Joshua, Aishwarya Sathyachandran, Chenicherry House SujathaThe application of Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer-Aerosol Optical Depth (MODIS-AOD) for Air Quality (AQ) assessment has contributed significantly by making use of a spatiotemporal relationship between ground-level particulate matter and aerosol optical density at both city and state levels. Traditional ground-based site-specific particulate matter monitoring method has found a profound gap in their spatial coverage. Such challenging situations prevail over … …American Journal of Environmental Sciences, Vol. 18, Issue 6 · 8 Feb 2023 · 5,883 accessesView PDFCite
