Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleLog data Approach to Acquisition of Optimal Bayesian Learner ModelChoo-Yee Ting, Somnuk Phon-AmnuaisukLog data provide valuable insight into observable behavioural patterns, which could be inferred to study a learner’s cognitive processes, levels of motivation and levels of knowledge acquisition. To date, most of the research work has been devoted to study the different methods to analyze and interpret log data. Little attention, however, has been given to use log data as a … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 6, Issue 5 · 31 May 2009 · 7,074 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAcquisition and Research of the p-3C-SiC Epitaxial Layers Based on the 6H-SiC Semi-Insulating SubstratesLebedev Alexander Alexandrovich, S.P. Lebedev, E.V. Bogdanova et al.By now we know almost nothing about works on production of p-3C-SiC. Probably, it is due to the fact that the basic acceptor impurity (aluminium) accumulates on the interfaces of the twins and other structural defects in the 3C film and it is electrically neutral. We managed to produce the highly doped layers p-3C based on the conducting substrates of … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 3 · 27 May 2015 · 6,466 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Multidimensional Framework for Understanding Internet Information Behavior: Influencing Factors and Progression in the Digital AgeJinyan Liao, Sameer Kumar, Fumitaka FuruokaThis study explores the multidimensional characteristics and influencing factors of Internet information behavior and constructs a theoretical framework to explain user behaviors in information acquisition, dissemination, and sharing. The paper defined the core concepts of Internet information behavior and examined its evolution in the digital era. It categorized information acquisition behaviors based on processing methods, emphasizing the roles of search … …Journal of Social Sciences, Vol. 21, Issue 1 · 9 Jun 2025 · 6,412 accessesView PDFCite
Literature ReviewOpen accessIn the keywordsThe Role of Customer Relationship Management in the Airline IndustryDevasya AgarwalIn the status quo, airlines are unable to maximize profits, partly because of the lack of transformation in customer management over the decades. In this study, we inherently showcase a part of the reason that airlines are not heavily profitable and how it can be averted. This study employs a critical review method of literature and economic theory analysis to … …American Journal of Economics and Business Administration, Vol. 16, Issue 1 · 14 Oct 2024 · 10,727 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsExtracting Unique Personal Identification Number from IrisNenad Nestorovic, P.W.C. Prasad, Abeer Alsadoon, Amr ElchouemiThe aim of this research is to propose an enhanced model that significantly reduces the noise in the iris templates and thus present an efficient and reliable iris recognition system. Accuracy of Iris recognition system significantly depends on reducing noise at every stage of recognition process especially at eye image acquisition and iris segmentation stages. The proposed Iris recognition model … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 14, Issue 7 · 7 Jul 2017 · 8,132 accessesView PDFCite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsDESIGN OF FUZZY LOGIC CONTROLLER FOR ONLINE SPEED REGULATION OF DC MOTOR USING PWM TECHNIQUE BASED ON LABORATORY VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT ENGINEERING WORKBENCHPrema Kannan, Senthil Kumar Natarajan, Subhransu Sekar DashThis study details online speed regulation of DC motor using PWM technique based on LabVIEW. A fuzzy logic controller is designed to change the pulse width of switching signal applied to the converter and thereby the voltage fed to the armature of the separately excited DC motor to regulate the speed. The proposed system is connected to the server computer … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 8 · 4 Jul 2013 · 6,715 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Theory of the Mind as a Complex SystemCraig P. Speelman, Kim Kirsner, Stephan HalloyFive principles of skill acquisition are presented based on a review of research on human learning and expertise. Essentially these principles state that practice leads to faster and more efficient uses of knowledge. This enables faster performance and results in less demand on mental resources. In turn these outcomes enable higher level behaviours to be attempted. Ultimately skills are developed … …Current Research in Psychology, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 9 Jul 2012 · 9,149 accessesView PDFCite
