Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHigh Pitch Delay Resolution Technique for Tonal Language Speech Coding Based on Multi-Pulse Based Code Excited Linear Prediction AlgorithmSuphattharachai ChomphanProblem statement: In spontaneous speech communication, speech coding is an important process that should be taken into account, since the quality of coded speech depends on the efficiency of the speech coding algorithm. As for tonal language which tone plays important role not only on the naturalness and also the intelligibility of the speech, tone must be treated appropriately. Approach: … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 14 Jan 2011 · 6,734 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractLow Power Multiplier Design Using Latches and Flip-FlopsC. N. Marimuthu, P. ThangarajProblem statement: Power dissipation is designated as critical parameter in modern VLSI design field. In VLSI implementation low power concept is necessary to meet Moore’s law and to produce consumer electronics with more back up and less weight. To save significant power consumption of a VLSI design, it is a good direction to reduce its dynamic power which is the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 10 · 30 Jul 2010 · 7,375 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractHistory Based Contention Window Control in IEEE 802.11 MAC Protocol in Error Prone ChannelAli Balador, Ali Movaghar, Sam JabbehdariProblem statement: IEEE 802.11 Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol is one of the most implemented protocols in this network. The IEEE 802.11 controls the access to the share wireless channel within competing stations. The IEEE 802.11 DCF doubles the Contention Window (CW) size for decreasing the collision within contending stations and to improve the network performances but it is not … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 6, Issue 2 · 28 Jul 2010 · 7,667 accessesView PDFCite
