NarayanasamyMobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is one among the fastest growing area in the field of research where security is a vital factor for protecting MANET against attacks, EAACK is an acknowledgement based IDS which is composed of three parts namely, ACK, S-ACK and MRA along with digital signature to provide security against attacks. Till now contemporary technique such as EAACK … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 3 · 21 Apr 2015 · 6,778 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesC-LOAD POWER CONTROL PROTOCOL-CROSS-LAYER DESIGN OF A NETWORK LAYER LOAD POWER CONTROL PROTOCOL IN WIRELESS AD HOC NETWORKSA. Arivoli, P. NarayanasamyIn wireless ad hoc network scenario, Cross-layer design is emerging, important in wireless ad hoc network and the power control methods. Power control is the intelligent selection of transmit power in a communication to achieve the better performance within the system. Cross-layer is used to sharing the information between the layers. Physical to Transport layer information are shared in this … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 3 · 30 Nov 2013 · 7,148 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesMobile Element Scheduling for Efficient Data Collection in Wireless Sensor Networks: A SurveyK. Indra Gandhi, P. NarayanasamyProblem statement: Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) has become a very interesting field of research and has been deployed for various applications. The data sensed by the sensors need to be transmitted over to a Base Station (BS) where the data processing is done. Approach: The existing systems generally employ Multi-hop routing for data aggregation at the BS, where several nodes … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 15 Jan 2011 · 7,289 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesOptimization of Test Scheduling and Test Access for ITC-02 SOC Benchmark CircuitsP. Sakthivel, R. Delhi Babu, P. NarayanasamyProblem statement: This study presented the optimized test scheduling and test access for ITC-02 SOC benchmark circuits using genetic algorithm. In the scheduling procedure of SOC, scheduling problem was formulated as a sequence of two problems and solved. Approach: Test access mechanism width was partitioned into two and three partitions and the applications of test vectors and test vector assignments … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 4 · 30 Apr 2009 · 7,315 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the author namesLocation Based Throughput Maximization Routing in Energy Constrained Mobile Ad-hoc NetworkV. Sumathy, P. Narayanasamy, R. PrabhuIn wireless Ad-hoc network, power consumption becomes an important issue due to limited battery power. One of the reasons for energy expenditure in this network is irregularly distributed node pattern, which impose large interference range in certain area. To maximize the lifetime of ad-hoc mobile network, the power consumption rate of each node must be evenly distributed and the over … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 31 Jan 2006 · 6,823 accessesView PDF Cite
