Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleCluster Based Time Division Multiple Access Scheduling Scheme for Zigbee Wireless Sensor NetworksB. Meenakshi, P. AnandhakumarIn IEEE 802.15.4 ZigBee Wireless Sensor Networks, an efficient scheduling mechanism is required for reliable data transmission. Further, concurrent transmission of huge data through CSMA/CA incurs more packet collision rate. This complicated condition has to be eliminated to improve the system throughput. In this study, we propose to deploy cluster based TDMA scheduling mechanism for IEEE 802.15.4 ZigBee Wireless Sensor … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 12 · 26 Nov 2012 · 6,682 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleRealization of Fault Tolerant Routing Protocol for ZigbeeSharmila Sankar, SankaranarayananProblem statement: Increased use of handheld devices and sensor devices pose problems in existing routing protocols. The performance of the existing routing protocols deteriorates very much on these dense scenarios. Control overheads are very important parameter in deciding the performance of routing protocols, which are introduced during route discovery and maintenance process. Denser the network, higher is the control overhead … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 5 · 2 Mar 2012 · 6,827 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleLow Power Phase Locked Loop Frequency Synthesizer for 2.4 GHz Band ZigbeeNesreen Mahmoud Hammam Ismail, Masuri OthmanProblem statement: Wireless communication systems are required for many applications. There are different standards for these systems. IEEE 802.15.4 defines the communication system standard for zigbee. This study discussed designing one of the blocks of zigbee transceiver which is the Phase Locked Loop (PLL). A major target for any communication systems is saving battery power, especially for zigbee as it … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 2 · 30 Jun 2009 · 8,057 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsLow Cost Shooting Simulator Based on a Single Board ComputerAryuanto Soetedjo, Ali Mahmudi, Mochammad Ibrahim Ashari, Yusuf Ismail NakhodaThis paper proposes the camera on weapon system used as the shooting simulator. The single board computer (Raspberry Pi module) is used as the main processor. The OpenCV is implemented on the embedded system to perform the image processing task. The aim of the proposed camera on weapon system is to detect the position of the markers on the target … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 12, Issue 2 · 6 Apr 2015 · 7,721 accessesView PDFCite
