Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywords3D Mesh Streaming based on Predictive ModelingV. Vani, R. Pradeep Kumar, S. MohanThe complexity in 3D virtual environment over the web is growing rapidly every day. This 3D virtual environment comprises a set of structured scenes and each scene has multiple 3D objects/meshes. Therefore the granular level of the block in a virtual environment is the object. In a virtual environment, it is required to give user interactions for every 3D object … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 7 · 7 Jun 2012 · 7,410 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsOntological Approach for Effective Generation of Concept Based User Profiles to Personalize Search ResultsS. Prabaharan, R. S.D. WahidabanuProblem statement: Ontological user profile generation was a semantic approach to derive richer concept based user profiles. It depends on the semantic relationship of concepts. This study focuses on ontology to derive concept oriented user profile based on user search queries and clicked documents. This study proposes concept based on topic ontology which derives the concept based user profiles more independently. … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 2 · 21 Nov 2011 · 7,218 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractIPACT: Improved Web Page Recommendation System Using Profile Aggregation Based On Clustering of TransactionsYahya AlMurtadha, Md. Nasir Bin Sulaiman, Norwati Mustapha, Nur Izura UdzirProblem statement: Recently, Web usage mining techniques have been widely used to build recommendation systems especially for anonymous users. Approach: Assigning the current user to the best web navigation profile with similar navigation activities will improve the ability of the prediction engine to produce a recommendation list then introduce it to the user. This study presents iPACT an improved recommendation … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 3 · 25 Mar 2011 · 7,981 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordMeasuring the Relevance of Trajectory Matching and Profile Matching in the Context of Carpooling Computational SystemsMichael Cruz, Hendrik Macedo, Adolfo GuimarãesCarpooling consists of sharing individual vehicle space among people with comparable trajectories. Although there are some software initiatives to help carpooling practice, none of them really implements features similarly to searching for people with similar trajectories and profile. In this study, we propose an innovative approach to generate clusters of users that share similar trajectories and profile for carpooling purposes … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 14, Issue 2 · 3 Feb 2018 · 8,128 accessesView PDF Cite
