Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsAn Effective Contention Aware Stable Path Finding Approach to Provide Quality of Service in Mobile Ad hoc NetworksD. S. Thenmozhi, M. RajaramProblem statement: The application of Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs) has been increasing every day. Most applications that attract interest for use in current wired networks (e.g. video conferencing, on line movies and camera enabled instant messenger) would attract interest for MANETs also. Many applications that use MANETs include multimedia data that require Quality of Service (QoS) support for effective … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 7 Mar 2011 · 6,740 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractIAFIR Optimization against NOMA Competitors: A Comprehensive Analysis on Energy-Efficient Non-Orthogonal Multiple AccessS. Pavithra, S. ChitraThe ever-growing demands of next-generation wireless networks necessitate the exploration of innovative technologies to enhance spectral efficiency, user experience and network performance. Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) has emerged as a promising candidate, offering the potential for increased capacity and improved system reliability. NOMA allows multiple users to share the same time-frequency resource, breaking away from traditional orthogonal access methods. In … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 8 · 31 May 2024 · 5,053 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractGeometric-Cinematic Synthesis of Planetary MechanismsNicolae Petrescu, Florian Ion Tiberiu PetrescuThe simple planetary mechanism is geometrically synthesized by determining the four tooth numbers of the component wheels. There are four main conditions that if not obeyed the mechanism will be blocked, will work with interruptions, or will not work at all. (a) The first condition in the geometric-kinematic synthesis of a simple planetary is the uniform loading of satellites (satellite … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 11, Issue 3 · 28 Aug 2018 · 7,458 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractComparative Study on Energy Efficient in Traveling Wave Pulse Coupled Oscillator for Wireless Sensor NetworksZeyad Ghaleb Al-Mekhlafi, Zurina Mohd Hanapi, Mohamed Othman, Zuriati Ahmad ZukarnainWSNs are unable to afford simultaneous transmission and reception of data and for most scenarios, the battery replacement is impossible upon the exhaustion of a node's battery energy. Thus, energy efficient protocols constitute vital design requirements for the WSN as a whole in order to increase the lifetime and ensure successful transmission of data from sensor node source to target, … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 13, Issue 11 · 21 Nov 2016 · 7,355 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractNEW BURST ASSEMBLY AND SCHEDULING TECHNIQUE FOR OPTICAL BURST SWITCHING NETWORKSV. Kavitha, V. PalanisamyThe Optical Burst Switching is a new switching technology that efficiently utilizes the bandwidth in the optical layer. The key areas to be concentrated in Optical Burst Switching (OBS) networks are the burst assembly and burst scheduling i.e., assignment of wavelengths to the incoming bursts. This study presents a New Burst Assembly and Scheduling (NBAS) technique in a simultaneous multipath … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 8 · 6 Jul 2013 · 6,944 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessAll words, across the recordQTL Mapping Using Multiple Markers SimultaneouslyD. Kolbehdari, J.A.B. RobinsonMethods for detecting and locating a single QTL within a 10 cM region of DNA using 10 equally spaced SNP markers were compared. The QTL was assumed to be bi-allelic and located between markers 5 and 6. Monte Carlo simulation of a granddaughter design with 30 sires and 400 sons was used. Linear regression nested within sire using either two … …American Journal of Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Vol. 2, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2007 · 7,110 accessesView PDF Cite
