Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsDensity Power Downweighting and Robust Inference: Some New StrategiesSaptarshi Roy, Kaustav Chakraborty, Somnath Bhadra, Ayanendranath BasuPreserving the robustness of the procedure has, at the present time, become almost a default requirement for statistical data analysis. Since efficiency at the model and robustness under misspecification of the model are often in conflict, it is important to choose such inference procedures which provide the best compromise between these two concepts. Some minimum Bregman divergence estimators and related … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 15, Issue 1 · 8 Dec 2019 · 7,709 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsMeasure for No Three-Factor Interaction Model in Three-Way Contingency TablesKouji Yamamoto, Kyoji Hori, Sadao TomizawaProblem statement: For 2×2×K contingency tables, the measure is considered to represent the degree of departure from a log-linear model of No Three-Factor Interaction (NOTFI). We are interested in considering a similar measure for general I×J×K contingency tables. Approach: The present study proposed a measure to represent the degree of departure from the NOTFI model for I×J×K contingency tables. Also … …Current Research in Biostatistics, Vol. 1, Issue 1 · 30 Jun 2010 · 7,783 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDynamic Reconfiguration of IP Domain Middleware Stacks to Support Multicast Multimedia Distribution in a Heterogeneous EnvironmentKevin Curran, Gerard ParrSeamless connectivity to multiple wireless networks independently of a fixed point is becoming increasingly important for mobile devices however wireless networks differ in bandwidth, size and access costs each requiring protocol functions to enable devices to communicate efficiently. In addition, due to the divergence of users and applications, traditional stacks are frequently enriched with additional functionality such as transport protocol … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 1, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2005 · 6,781 accessesView PDF Cite
