Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEmploying Hybrid Serial Cascaded Adaptive Network for Anomaly Detection and Prevention in IoT Time Series Data With Optimal Interdomain RoutingKante Satyanarayana, K. VenkateshNowadays, emerging Internet of Things (IoT) in data processing becomes interested research topic and is used for various applications. This varies from big data processing and analytics for accumulating entire sensor data to detect and generate long-term trends. Nevertheless, this results in the requirement for resources like the execution of power, memory, and bandwidth, in which resource-constrained IoT tools suffers … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 1 · 21 Feb 2026 · 1,466 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractOptimized Wireless Sensor Network Clustering Using a Hybrid Firefly–Bat Algorithm (HFBA)J. Jegan, Senthil kumar P, S. Saravanakumar et al.Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are composed of numerous sensor nodes that collaborate to observe and evaluate various environmental parameters, transmitting the data to a central base station. Each node is equipped with a unique transmitter, receiver, and processor to facilitate sensing, processing, and communication. These networks are often installed in extremely remote and inaccessible areas. A significant challenge arises from … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 5 · 19 May 2026 · 1,431 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractEfficiency Assessment of Software-Defined Networking for Real-Time Network SystemsNeelam Gupta, Sarvesh Tanwar, Sumit BadotraSoftware Networking (SDN) is growing in popularity due to its benefits, which include portability, mobility, analytics, and ease of creation. But it needs to be adequately shielded from security risks. One of the main vulnerabilities to the SDN network is the Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack. To fulfill the demands of the complex and demanding security concerns of today, a new … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 6 · 8 Apr 2024 · 4,918 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPerformance Evaluation of Blackhole Attack on AODV in VANETTaha SaadBlack hole is one of the ongoing network threats that impact the physical components of Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANETs) when more layers deal with routing mechanism of vehicular ad hoc network. An algorithm for Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) protocol in VANET was developed in order to identify collaborative group of nodes that behave as black hole. The … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 15, Issue 2 · 6 Nov 2017 · 8,404 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractCAROTID PLAQUE CLASSIFICATION USING CONTOURLET FEATURES AND SUPPORT VECTOR MACHINESM. Thangavel, M. Chandrasekaran, M. MadheswaranThe aim of this study is to propose a suitable and reliable system for better diagnosis and treatment of carotid diseases. In this study, Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) system has been proposed for classifying carotid artery plaques using Contourlet features. Carotid images have been acquired for 124 subjects with symptoms (Amaurosis Fugax, Stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack) and 133 subjects … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 9 · 15 Apr 2014 · 6,776 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractA New Robust Hybrid Approach to Enhance Speech in Mobile Communication SystemsManimegalai Govindan Sumithra, Keppana Gounder Thanuskodi, Bharathi DeepaProblem statement: The received voice signal in mobile communication is often disturbed by background noise and hence there is a need for good noise reduction methods for enhancing Speech. It is well known that denoising is a compromise between the removal of the largest possible amount of noise and the preservation of signal integrity. To address this issue, a new … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 8, Issue 4 · 18 Apr 2011 · 7,299 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAn Effective Queue Management Scheme for Data CommunicationSheela Thavasi, Nityanandam NatarajanProblem statement: The growth in the needs of Internet applications that transmit massive amount of data has led to the emergence of Effective Queue Management. Approach: Queues were used to smooth spikes in incoming packet rates and to allow the router sufficient time for packet processing. When the waiting time is less a better queue management is ensured thereby resulting … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 3 · 7 Mar 2011 · 7,758 accessesView PDFCite
