Siva KumarProblem statement: The Rotor reactance control by inclusion of external capacitance in the rotor circuit has been in recent research for improving the performances of Wound Rotor Induction Motor (WRIM). The rotor capacitive reactance is adjusted such that for any desired load torque the efficiency of the WRIM is maximized. The rotor external capacitance can be controlled using a dynamic … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 7 · 26 May 2012 · 7,162 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractOptimized Wireless Sensor Network Clustering Using a Hybrid Firefly–Bat Algorithm (HFBA)J. Jegan, Senthil kumar P, S. Saravanakumar et al.Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are composed of numerous sensor nodes that collaborate to observe and evaluate various environmental parameters, transmitting the data to a central base station. Each node is equipped with a unique transmitter, receiver, and processor to facilitate sensing, processing, and communication. These networks are often installed in extremely remote and inaccessible areas. A significant challenge arises from … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 22, Issue 5 · 19 May 2026 · 1,431 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractPerformance Analysis of Threshold Based Compressive Sensing Algorithm in Wireless Sensor NetworkParnasree Chakraborty, C. ThariniWireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are comprised of spatially distributed sensor nodes, where each node contains sensors, processors and transceivers for communicating data. Regardless of the application in which the sensor network is serving, the data generated in the network eventually must be delivered to the sink. However the limited network bandwidth, frequent node/link failure along with the unreliable communication medium … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 14, Issue 2 · 3 Feb 2017 · 7,507 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign of Arm Based Real Time Personnel Monitoring System Using Wi-Fi TechnologyRekha George, Varghese PaulNowadays we constantly come across the need to transfer remote data to monitor center which will be far away from the place of data acquisition. Traditional data acquisition system using wires cannot satisfy these requirements due to its heavy cost and impracticability. Embedded devices with network communication which makes it more powerful and easier to monitor and control remote data, … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 8 · 24 Jul 2013 · 6,483 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign an Advance Computer-Aided Tool for Image Authentication and ClassificationRozita Teymourzadeh, Amirize Alpha Laadi, Yazan Samir Algnabi et al.Over the years, advancements in the fields of digital image processing and artificial intelligence have been applied in solving many real-life problems. This could be seen in facial image recognition for security systems, identity registrations. Hence a bottleneck of identity registration is image processing. These are carried out in form of image preprocessing, image region extraction by cropping, feature extraction … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 7 · 24 Jun 2013 · 6,561 accessesView PDFCite
