Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleImproved Fuzzy Logic Controller Implemented on FPGA Circuit for Photovoltaic SystemsAouatif Ibnelouad, Abdeljalil Elkari, Hassan Ayad, Mostafa MjahedTo be the photovoltaic arrays capable to transport the maximum power obtainable, it must be combined with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). To succeed, we will improve a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method, based on intelligent technique such as Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC), compared with a conventional method which is P&O. This improved method applied to a stand-alone photovoltaic … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 16, Issue 5 · 5 Jun 2020 · 7,520 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleDESIGN OF FUZZY LOGIC CONTROLLER FOR ONLINE SPEED REGULATION OF DC MOTOR USING PWM TECHNIQUE BASED ON LABORATORY VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT ENGINEERING WORKBENCHPrema Kannan, Senthil Kumar Natarajan, Subhransu Sekar DashThis study details online speed regulation of DC motor using PWM technique based on LabVIEW. A fuzzy logic controller is designed to change the pulse width of switching signal applied to the converter and thereby the voltage fed to the armature of the separately excited DC motor to regulate the speed. The proposed system is connected to the server computer … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 8 · 4 Jul 2013 · 6,715 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleImplementation of a Novel Control Strategy Using Fuzzy Logic Controller to Shunt Active Filter for Line Harmonic ReductionN. Senthilnathan, T. ManigandanProblem statement: Now days, power quality has been given attention due to the intensive use of power electronic equipments in all types of industries such as steel, paper, textile industries and so on. These power electronic devices induce harmonic distortion into the supply lines which gives rise to many undesirable effects. Approach: This study presents a new method for harmonic … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 5 · 29 Feb 2012 · 7,087 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleFuzzy Logic Controller Based Three-phase Shunt Active Filter for Line Harmonics ReductionC. Sharmeela, M. R. Mohan, G. Uma, J. BaskaranHarmonic distortion is a form of electrical noise. It is a superposition of signals, which are of multiples of fundamental frequency. Proliferation of large power electronic systems results in increased harmonic distortion. Harmonic distortion results in reduction of power quality and system stability. This paper presents fuzzy control applicable for active power filter for three-phase systems, which are comprised of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 3, Issue 2 · 28 Feb 2007 · 7,107 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleDevelopment of a Fuzzy Logic Controller for Real-time Energy Optimization of a Hybrid vehicleSk. Khairul Hasan, Anoop Kumar DhingraThe ability to combine positive features of an internal combustion engine with those of an electric motor has been fundamental to the advancement of the high-performance energy-optimized hybrid vehicles. However, due to a lack of reliable and realistic hybrid vehicle models, much of the hybrid vehicle controller research has been limited to computer simulations. To overcome this shortcoming, this paper … …Journal of Mechatronics and Robotics, Vol. 4, Issue 1 · 21 Oct 2020 · 6,950 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleLabview Based Autonomous Agricultural Robot Using Fuzzy Logic ControllerPrema Kannan, Senthil Kumar Natarajan, Subhransu Sekar DashThis study proposes a LabVIEW based autonomous agricultural robot which can be used for ploughing. The control logic is designed using fuzzy logic controller to operate the robot in autonomous mode. The robot can also be controlled from a remote place using internet and its position is monitored using Global Positioning System (GPS), Data Socket protocol and Wi-Fi connection. Two … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 11 · 24 Sep 2013 · 7,048 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessPhrase in the titleFuzzy Logic Controller for Wireless Video TransmissionK. P. Rajesh, K. S. RamaswamiProblem statement: As the Variable Bit Rate (VBR) is high in MPEG, the video experienced long delay and unexpected data loss. In wireless channel, due to noise and interference of other signals transmission rate cannot be predicted. Approach: In this paper we proposed an intelligent fuzzy logic controller for transmission of Moving Picture Expert Group (MPEG-4) video signals over wireless … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 7 · 30 Jun 2011 · 6,950 accessesView PDFCite
