Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsThe Effect of Temperature on the Performance of Uncooled Semiconductor Laser Diode in Optical NetworkMohammad Syuhaimi Ab-Rahman, Nurain Izzati ShuhaimiProblem statement: The characteristics of a laser diode are highly dependent on the temperature of the laser chip. Thus, the effect of temperature on the network performance of uncooled semiconductor laser diode are studied by simulating its equivalent electrical circuit, developed from the rate equations that governing optical components directly into an electrical simulation framework. Approach: The simulations are carried … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 1 · 29 Oct 2011 · 7,685 accessesView PDF Cite

Review ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractNASA has Found the Most Distant Black HoleRelly Victoria Petrescu, Raffaella Aversa, Antonio Apicella, Florian Ion Tiberiu PetrescuScientists have uncovered a rare relic from the early universe: the farthest known supermassive black hole. This matter-eating beast is 800 million times the mass of our Sun, which is astonishingly large for its young age. Researchers report the find in the journal Nature. "This black hole grew far larger than we expected in only 690 million years after the … …Journal of Aircraft and Spacecraft Technology, Vol. 2, Issue 1 · 18 Jan 2018 · 7,292 accessesView PDF Cite
