It offers learning and data accession opportunities to learners notwithstanding time and place. In academic education, it was found that one of the critical problem is the appreciate education tool for disabilities students. Students with special education have … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 18 Sep 2013 · 7,425 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleReliable and Efficient Broadcasting in Asymmetric Mobile Ad Hoc Networks Using Minimized Forward Node List AlgorithmMarimuthu Murugesan, Ammasai KrishnanProblem statement: Network wide broadcasting is a fundamental operation in ad hoc networks. In broadcasting, a source node sends a message to all the other nodes in the network. Unlike in a wired network, a packet transmitted by a node in ad hoc wireless network can reach all neighbors. Therefore, the total number of transmissions (Forwarding nodes) used as the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 27 Dec 2010 · 7,577 accessesView PDFCite
Review ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleAdaptive Video Quality Model for UHD Video Broadcasting Using the Principle of InclusionUrvashi Pal, Horace KingIn this study, an adaptive video quality algorithm is developed for Ultra High Definition (UHD) video broadcasting through Digital Video Broadcasting by Satellite 2nd Generation (DVB-S2), where three conditions are responsible for enhancing or reducing the quality of a video signal received by the DVB-S2 Set-Top-Box (STB). The conditions are: Coverage area, Distance between transmitter and receiver and Separation distance. … …American Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Vol. 10, Issue 4 · 20 Nov 2017 · 7,899 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEnsuring Multi Messages Broadcasting in Mobile Ad Hoc Network using Network Coding ApproachS. V.M.G. Bavithiraja, R. RadhakrishnanProblem statement: In mobile adhoc network, broadcasting is a common operation for route establishment and for sending control and emergency messages. Most of the existing broadcasting algorithms consider broadcasting from single source node and consider only single message broadcasting. Initiating multiple messages broadcasting from multiple sources is a challenging task which requires minimum number of retransmission made by the forwarding … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 6 · 17 Mar 2012 · 7,055 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessEvery word in the titleEfficient Broadcasting in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks Using Context Aware Adaptive Routing Protocol during Network PartitionsS. V.M.G. Bavithiraja, R. RadhakrishnanProblem statement: In mobile ado network, broadcasting is a common operation for route establishment and for sending control and emergency messages. Reliable Broadcasting in mobile ad hoc networks requires delivery of messages from different sources to all the nodes of the network within bounded time. The nodes are highly mobile and the network is highly dynamic and decentralized. Most of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 5 · 28 Feb 2012 · 6,461 accessesView PDFCite
Case ReportOpen accessEvery word in the titleLoad Balancing Technique Based on Broadcasting and Residual Energy Using Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy Protocol (LBEACH)Abdullah Soliman Alshraa, Venus Wazeer SamawiOne of the important factors of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is sensors lifetime. Elongating sensors lifetime increases the benefits from the network capabilities as much as possible. To elongate WSNs lifetime, power consumption should be reduced. To do so, load balance technique is applied to distribute the energy consumption among cluster’s nodes in the WSN. In each cluster, the node … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 11, Issue 6 · 13 Oct 2015 · 6,610 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsReducing Broadcast Overhead Using Clustering Based Broadcast Mechanism in Mobile Ad Hoc NetworkN. Karthikeyan, V. Palanisamy, K. DuraiswamyProblem statement: Network wide broadcasting is an important function in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET), which attempts to deliver packets from a source node to all other nodes in the network. Broadcasting is often very useful for route discovery, naming, addressing and helping multicast operations in all kinds of networks. For designing broadcast protocols for ad hoc networks, one of … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 5, Issue 8 · 31 Aug 2009 · 7,031 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the keywordsA Novel Routing Protocol with High Energy Performance in Mobile Special NetworksAli Norouzi, B. Berk UstundagProblem statement: Mobile Special Networks do not have a predetermined structure. This type of networks can dynamically reorganize network connection relationships due to change of neighborhoods and the relative positions. Approach: There are many problems in creation of a special network such as routing, wireless media, energy consumption and transportability. Results: Although these networks primarily had been formed for small … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 7, Issue 1 · 15 Jan 2011 · 7,304 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractDesign, Validation, Simulation and Parametric Evaluation of a Novel Protocol for Locating Mobile Agents in Multiregion EnvironmentRama Sushil, Kumkum Garg, Rama BhargavaMobile agents are processes that can be dispatched from source computer and be transported to remote servers for execution, have been widely argued to be an important enabling technology for future systems. Location management is a necessity for locating mobile agents in a network of mobile agent hosts for controlling, monitoring and communication during processing and it still represents an … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 4, Issue 3 · 31 Mar 2008 · 6,936 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessIn the abstractAdding Quality of Service Extensions to the Enhanced Associativity Based Routing Protocol for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET)Ayman Mansour Murad, Bassam Al-MahadeenThis paper described how to discover routes that can satisfy QoS service requirements by using extensions to the Enhanced Associativity Bases Routing Protocol (EABR). These extensions were added to the messages used during route discovery. These extensions specify the service requirements, which must be met by nodes re-broadcasting a route request or returning a route reply for a destination. The … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 4, Issue 11 · 30 Nov 2007 · 6,708 accessesView PDFCite
