Research ArticleOpen accessMinimising Energy Consumption in WSN-IoT Networks by Focusing on Quality of ServiceAnuradha, Tarun Gulati, Rajbhupinder Kaur et al.IoT networks are low-powered networks and resource allocation and efficient utilization are critical concerns. Network resources are allocated to the intermediate nodes to perform the various operations (sense, transmit, re-transmit, data aggregation, etc.). These operations are managed by the different layers (M.A.C., routing and PHY). Each layer consumes resources W.R.T. their operations and there is a need to manage the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 20, Issue 10 · 13 Aug 2024 · 4,984 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessDelay-Conscious Service Quality Constraint in IoT Sensor Networks for Smart FarmingZatin Gupta, Amit Kumar BindalThe Internet of Things (IoT) offers different services for the agriculture industry, such as monitoring and analysing real-time data related to current weather conditions, water level, irrigation requirements, growth of plant disease and health status/temperature/humidity, etc.,). The performance of IoT networks may vary due to environmental conditions and operational areas (rural area/urban area/underwater). These constraints may degrade the transmission quality … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 19, Issue 8 · 9 Aug 2023 · 5,390 accessesView PDF Cite
