Research ArticleOpen accessThe Exact Root Algorithm for Computing the Real Roots of an Nth Degree PolynomialE. A. Adebile, V. I. IdokoProblem statement: The need to find an efficient and reliable algorithm for computing the exact real roots of the steady-state polynomial encountered in the investigation of temperature profiles in biological tissues during Microwave heating and other similar cases as found in the literature gave rise to this study. Approach: The algorithm (simply called ERA-Exact Root Algorithm) adopted polynomial deflation technique … …Journal of Mathematics and Statistics, Vol. 6, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2010 · 7,560 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessA Coupled Mathematical Model for a Temperature Dependant Blood Perfusion in Heterogeneous Biological Tissues during Microwave HeatingE. A. Adebile, B. N. Akintewe, K. M. OwolabiProblem statement: The temperature variation in heterogeneous three layered biological tissues was investigated. Approach: The blood perfusion was considered to be temperature dependent. The heating modalities were taking to go on simultaneously in each of the regions on the one hand and also sequentially in another arrangement. The asymptotic series solution was modified for the three layers and the matching … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 7, Issue 5 · 31 May 2010 · 6,580 accessesView PDF Cite
