Research ArticleOpen accessOptimizing Nano-silver Formation by Fusarium oxysporum PTCC 5115 Employing Response Surface MethodologyM. Karbasian, S. M. Atyabi, S. D. Siadat et al.Fusarium oxysporum was grown in medium containing malt, yeast extracts and glucose on shaker at 25±1°C and180 rpm for 96 h. The mycelia were used to convert silver nitrate solution into nano-silver. The bioconversion was optimized through response surface methodology-central composite design .The factors which affected the process were pH, temperature, agitation rate, concentration of silver nitrate, time of reaction … …American Journal of Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Vol. 3, Issue 1 · 31 Mar 2008 · 8,629 accessesView PDFCite
Research ArticleOpen accessStabilization of Tyrosinase-Bovine Serum Albumin Crystals by GlutaraldehydeD. Norouzian, A. Akbarzadeh, M.H. Abnosi et al.Tyrosinase and bovine serum albumin were co-crystallized by saturated ammonium sulfate solution(65%) and 20% polyethylene glycol ( PEG) 6000 and n-propanol as co-solvents .The obtained crystals were cross linked by glutaraldehyde solution(1% v/v).Polyethylene glycol 6000 was found to be better co-solvent than n-propanol. The developed biocatalyst could be recycled 6 times without further loss of tyrosinase activity. No loss of … …American Journal of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Vol. 3, Issue 3 · 30 Sep 2007 · 7,194 accessesView PDFCite
