Research ArticleOpen accessTrust Based Node Replication Attack Detection Protocol for Wireless Sensor NetworksV. Manjula, C. ChellappanThe harmful attack against Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is Node Replication attack, where one or more node(s) illegitimately claims an identity, are also called clone attack due to identity theft. The Node replication attack can be exceedingly injurious to many important functions of the sensor network such as routing, resource allocation, misbehavior detection, This study proposes a method Randomized and … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 11 · 5 Nov 2012 · 6,756 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessEnhanced RSACRT for Energy Efficient Authentication to Wireless Sensor Networks SecurityP. Kalyani, C. ChellappanProblem statement: The Security in WSN has become a challenge because of its inherent limitations of resources imposed on the sensor nodes. Authentication and key management scheme allows WSNs to be used with confidence and maintains integrity of data in sensor networks. Approach: In the WSN limited resource scenario the generation of public key done and are randomly pre distributed … …American Journal of Applied Sciences, Vol. 9, Issue 10 · 18 Aug 2012 · 7,339 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessIntelligent Model for Traffic Safety ApplicationsG. Nagappan, C. ChellappanProblem statement: This study presents an analysis on road traffic system focused on the use of communications to detect dangerous vehicles on roads and highways and how it could be used to enhance driver safety. Approach: The intelligent traffic safety application model is based on all traffic flow theories developed in the last years, leading to reliable representations of road … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 8, Issue 3 · 14 Jan 2012 · 6,723 accessesView PDF Cite
