Research ArticleOpen accessEnhancing Database Availability: A Combined Approach Using SQL Always on Failover Cluster Instance and Availability GroupsFaisal Rahman, Benfano SoewitoDatabase availability is a critical factor in supporting business processes to ensure uninterrupted operations. When the production server experiences failures, data may become inaccessible, disrupting business operations. To mitigate this risk, separating the production server from the reporting server is essential. However, this approach introduces challenges related to data synchronization and automatic failover during system failures. Existing High Availability (HA) … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 21, Issue 6 · 20 Jun 2025 · 4,259 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessA High Quality Steganography Method with Twenty Five-Pixel Value DifferencingRojali, Ford Lumban Gaol, Edi Abdurahman, Benfano SoewitoThe fundamental objectives of image steganography algorithm are to simultaneously achieve high payload or embedding capacity, good visual imperceptibility and security. This paper presents a new approach to improve the embedding capacity and provide an imperceptible visual quality, a novel steganography method based on algorithm twenty five pixel value differencing and modified interval table (TFPVD). The cover image is made … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 15, Issue 10 · 29 Oct 2019 · 7,349 accessesView PDF Cite

Research ArticleOpen accessSECURE WIRELESS AD HOC NETWORKS USING ZERO KNOWLEDGE PROOFBenfano Soewito, Yonathan Marcellinus, Manik HapsaraA Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is a group of wireless mobile nodes that dynamically form a network without any pre-established infrastructure or centralized administration, Soewito (2014). Some network hops may be needed to send a packet from one node to another node in the MANET. To do the communication between the nodes, a route has to be selected in the … …Journal of Computer Science, Vol. 10, Issue 12 · 26 Dec 2014 · 7,869 accessesView PDF Cite
